The Fool
It represents Innocence, New Beginnings, Free spirit
(Name) prepared herself a fast breakfast with the things she bought around 2 am when she woke up realizing she had no food for tomorrow's first day of school."I'm so dumb sometimes... I'm lucky it's a non-stop."
She dressed up and went to school, seeing some familiar faces on her way.
The school was ordinary looking, the only difference was that she had to change shoes and that the lockers were only around the entrance. "Pretty neat" she thought.
As she changed shoes she felt another wave of danger... Like a pair of knives that cut into her. She looked around herself, and except from a random redhead boy that discussed with a gorilla of a man and one of her American pals, Sylvia, there was no one.
She went to Sylvia, tapping on her shoulder. "How's Japan looking for you?" You asked her.
"Oh dear... It's a bit hard. I'm still trying to find myself learning the basics of communication..." Sylvia chuckled, putting her rusty hair away from her green eyes. "I'm just kidding, I don't have friends around here yet except for you. But hopefully today will change..." she pointed with her glance towards the darker man next to the redheaded man (Name) first noticed. "What about you?"
"I'm okay." (Name) replied."I just feel a wave of uneasiness... Something menacing getting closer." Two pairs of delicate and strong footsteps respectively passed behind the girls, but one of them stopped for a mere second. When (Name) turned, she saw the same vile red haired man, that continued on his way. "I'll see you later today, Sylvia." The (h/c) girl said, as her eyes kept following the weird man.
She then grabbed her things and left the area, in search for her classroom. She stumbled across it and decided to take the first seat she found... It was art class after all... Putting on the protection, she waited patiently for the class to start, because she was too shy to discuss with the other 13 people in the room.
All noises suddenly stopped as the atmosphere thickened, and two pairs of footsteps entered the class, footsteps way too familiar. (Name) looked a bit just to see if it's the teacher or not, although she knew it can't be.
To her no surprise, there were two students, the annoying-by-this-point redhead and that enormous man Sylvia was trying to tell her about. She finally saw him in the eyes. He had the purest form of blue in the eyes, and felt the glare freezing her yet warming at the same time. "After all... Eyes are the gate to the soul." She told herself.
The redhead wore sunglasses for some reasons so one couldn't see exactly. They probably were green or brown as most of the redheads she met.
(Name) looked once again over her canvas, that was already put there, but covered. As her brain wanted to uncover, another hand stopped hers, and squeezing it hard.
"I suppose you've heat my seat only. Move."
Frightened, she lift up to see who it is. The redhead. Next to her in her right seat was the black haired guy. In a deep voice, he said "Yare yare daze... Just take your fucking canvas and switch the place, Kakyoin."
The man let her go and took of his eyeglasses. A pair of amethyst eyes met her (e/c) ones. That small eye locking was enough for her to see into his soul. She mumbled "I'm sorry" and took her bag, only for the teacher to appear and shout in the most pissed voice ever: "Noriaki sit down and you'll fix it with our new exchange student. Please, (Name), present yourself."
(Name) went in the front of the class, next to the teacher, and said. "I am (Name), I am 18, I enjoy art and literature. I am from America and this year I'll be studying in your school."
"Arigato, (Name). Sit back."
The one whose name she got through pieces, Kakyoin Noriaki, looked at her every move, and it made her feel like the knives returned.
She tried to peek on his art, but she knew she wasn't allowed. "Maybe I'll ask after he's ready with it to show me. Maybe he just tried to play the tuff... Yeah that's right." (Name) thought.
She lifted and gave Noriaki his canvas back. He smiled, and the air suddenly came back to normal. He sat next to that dark haired man.
"Maybe he thought that someone will steal his art... I've had heard enough art theft stories already." She thought, seeing Kakyoin being jolly now.
Since the teacher gave everyone the opportunity to draw whatever they wanted, (Name) decided to draw herself and the things she felt herself connected to. Tarot.
From her backpack she opened the bag and pulled two cards. The Hierophant and The Star.
"How could you put these two together, fate?"She thought.
One was traditions, one was free spirit... So she put both of them back in the deck. She shuffled it again, and pulled the same exact two cards, although she pulled them from various places in the deck.
"C'mon... I know you want to give me a message now but I want inspiration not future." She whispered.
Her shuffling and groans of frustration from getting the same two cards caught the attention of a pair of blue eyes that looked in her direction, "FUCK HE SAW ME.... FUUUUUCK." she cussed mentally.
Whispering, a thick voice asked "Is that tarot?"
She looked at the source and to her horror, it was him. Kakyoin's friend. She nodded.
"Meet us at the cafeteria." He said, louder, as to get her to look into his direction for longer.
She looked straight into his eyes. "He is more frightening than his friend." Was the first thought.
"Sure." She replied, thinking of a sketch but her brain was in panic.
"But why?"
"Tarot can read your future, right?"
"Yes but-"
"And I need to know my future."
(Name) scoffed... And for the last time, from her deck she pulled a card, but another fell down too.
The dark haired man caught it... Somehow. It was actually a purple hand that gave it to him.
He chuckled. "This card fell down. Luckily I got your star." He said, showing that the card was indeed "The Star".
The girl took it away, and looked at the one in her hand... The Hierophant was yet again there...
"Universe is such a bitch sometimes." she thought
