Hayoung I woke up to soft talking in the guest room. I had completely forgotten that the two military commanders had stayed the night at my house.
I grabbed my crutches and wobbled out of bed. Once I got to the room, I leaned against the door frame watching them.
I had never seen them so comforting and gentle. It was honestly a heartwarming sight. It made me want to sit in the middle of them and collect all their warmth.
Once Jaxon noticed me at the door, he nudged Sonny towards me.
Sonny eventually got up and stood awkwardly in front of me.
"Uh, sorry about last night. I shouldn't have put that burden on you. It was selfish and very unprofessional."
Instead of saying anything, I brought him in for a hug.
"Thank you for being the person I could relate to most." I whispered. "I know it may be selfish but your adversity has made me feel so much better about myself."
He laughed a little before saying: "You should really be careful about how you word the things you say."
"I want to go out for breakfast." Jaxon complained.
"Do you know how controversial it'll be if they see two military commanders with a famous Air Force enlistee?!" Sonny asked with a crazy look on his face.
One thing that caught my attention from what he said was 'famous Air Force enlistee'.
"What do you mean 'famous Air Force Enlistee'? That sounds crazy."
"Well I would say reports of your fame are greatly exaggerated but that's beside the point. Anyway, after your parachute accident, you were all over the news." Jaxon explained.
"But even before that, you apparently had many fans. I don't know why."
Before the parachute accident, I never thought I was considered 'famous'.
"Anyway, like I was saying, we can't be seen with an enlistee." Sonny said, once again.
"Why don't we just eat breakfast here?" He added on.
"I don't have any breakfast foods because I don't eat breakfast." I said, laughing awkwardly.
"You're a strange girl." Sonny said, looking at me weirdly.
"Come on, just throw on a black hoodie, and let's go!" Jaxon exclaimed, impatiently.
"She could get fired." Sonny said.
"It's fine. Let's just go." I said.
"Looks like someone has a crush." Sonny whispered while nudging Jaxon a little.
"Hurry! My legs are hurting!"
10:30 A.M
Once we got inside, we quickly sat down to avoid suspicion.
"So, who's gonna order?" I asked, clearly not wanting to get back up.
"I vote Sonny." Jaxon said, leaning back in his chair with his arms crossed.
"Well, I vote for you, Jaxon. You are the one who suggested we come here."
As we bickered with each other, a young woman that looked strangely familiar came in. We all looked towards the door and Sonny's eyes widened at the sight.
It was his wife. Well, his ex-wife. She had walked passed out table, surprisingly not noticing us, and sat down with a male, who seemed to be her date.
"She already going on a date!? We haven't even been divorced for 48 hours yet!" Sonny yelled, taken back. He had a metal knife in his hand that he was clutching onto like his life depended on it.
"Chill out dude. It's just an ex." I said, giving him a lazy smile and shrug.
"Just an ex?!" He asked, unintentionally bending the metal knife. Yea, he bent a metal knife.
"I'm going to order our food." He said as his hand vigorously shook.
Once he got up, Jaxon gave me a small smile and said: "How could you just say she's just an ex. They've been married for years and even have a kid."
Yikes. Sonny may have had even more problems than I imagined.
After Sonny was done ordering our food, he came back to the table and angrily sat back down.
"I need a beer." He mumbled.
"What the hell-? It's 10 in the morning!" I said, dumbfounded. This dude sure was special.
About 10 to 15 minutes later, our food had finally arrived. Once we were about to dig in a few more people came in.
But these weren't any random people. It was Jimin and his gang. His gang consisted of the Navy commander, Coast guard commander, Marine commander, one Air Force enlistee, and two Army enlistees.
Kim Seokjin, more known as Jin, Min Yoongi, Jung Hoseok, Kim Namjoon, Kim Taehyung, Jeon Jeongguk, more known as Jungkook, and of course, Park Jimin.
These seven were the definition of famous in the military.
Sonny noticed them and called them over to sit at our table. Sonny had a strong liking towards Jimin for sure.
As they made their way to our table, I grabbed ahold of Sonny's collar and said: "Are you serious, Sonny?! You know I have a past with Jimin!"
"Chill out dude. He's just an ex." He said, copying my statement from earlier. He sure was the cocky type.
I gave him a glare and sat back in my chair, frustrated.
