like a flower

And like a flower
I'll bloom where I'm planted
With a glow
Ever so candid.

'll swing and sing
Like the breeze;
even if my
little petals do freeze.

It's the season of joy
The sun, the sea, the air
Oh smell the fragrance
my heart is there.

The bright yellows,
Orange and pink
Can't let
your weary, tired heart sink.

With a sprig
A tendril or two,
Watch the dance
against the sky so blue.

And like a flower
Here I'll stay
and for your happiness
I shall pray.
