Everyone at school was so excited for the assembly today, because today was the way that Mr park will reveal who got what part in the play!
Jungkook had driven in with Jin and was now sat at his desk in homeroom with Felix waiting for taehyung
*RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING*
The bell cues student's to pile into the room, everyone looked so happy and excited today, taehyung walks in and sits next to jungkook blushing, jungkook look at him "what happened to you?" He looks at me "nothing....don't worry about it" jungkook giggles and looks at Felix who shrugs "okay..." Mr min walks into the classroom and does rolecall very quickly and then everyone goes down to the main hall where assembly is held today
Everyone finds a seat, the talking dies down when Mr Kim (Namjoon) stands up with a microphone "okay...I assume you all know what today is...and since it was Mr parks idea to make the play a reality...modern day Romeo and Juliet! He will be telling us who gets what part!....now before that I need to talk about when rehearsals will be.....they will be every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday....they will be at lunchtime and also a little after school since we only have 6 weeks before people come to watch the play....good luck to you all"
Mr park stands up and takes the microphone "I have to say some parts were very difficult to fill... remember not all Of you that did audition have got a part....everyone will participate in some way but you might not have a main part... But every job is important and you all did amazing in your auditions"
Felix nudges jungkooks arm and whispers "who do you think got Juliet?" Jungkook shrugs and whispers "probably Jennie..." Taehyung gently slaps jungkooks thigh and whispers "don't think that....I'm sure you got the part..." Jungkook sighs and looks down
Mr park looks at a piece of paper and says
"so fria Lawrence will be played by.....................Lee felix!"
(If you don't know fria Lawrence is a friend to both Romeo and Juliet and is the one who secretly marries the two)
"Mercutio will be played by Mr min"(yoongi)
(Mercutio is Romeo's best friend and the one who tries to convince Romeo that he doesn't love Juliet it's just sexual confusion)
"Capulet will be played by.............Kim taehyung!" (Cauplet is Juliets father)
"Lady cauplet will be played by Mr Jung" (hoseok)
(Lady cauplet is Juliets mother)
"Montague will be played by Mr kim- Namjoon" (Montague is Romeo's father)
"Lady Montague will be played by Mr kim- Jin" (lady Montague is Romeo's mother)
"Paris will be played by................Jackson wang!" (Paris is the person Juliet is expected to marry)
"Romeo will be played by me"
"Rosaline will be played by...............
Jennie!" (Rosaline is the person Romeo is expected to marry)
"And last but not least...Juliet will be played by.........jeon jungkook!"
Everyone turns to look at jungkook who was now in shock, Jennie stands up "I bet he sucked mr park off for the part!!! I even paid the school to get that part!!! I'm always the lead!!!" Jungkook sighs "I didnt! I just went to auditions like the rest of you did!"
Jennie laughs "you only went to that audition so you can kiss Mr park!!" Jungkook goes to yell something back but is intturrupted by Mr park "ENOUGH!!" everyone goes silent and is now looking at Mr park
Mr park glares at Jennie "how dare you assume that about why he got the part....the reason he got the part is because he is good at acting and singing....now Jennie for intturrupting my assembly, being innapropriate AND bullying another student you will be suspended from school for 5 weeks" Mr park looks at Namjoon who nods and stands up "please come with me to my office"
Jennie stands up and glares at jungkook but follows Mr kim- Namjoon to his office, everyone stayed silent.
Mr min Huffs and stands up "alright, any questions about the play?" Felix raises his hand, Mr min nods "Felix" Felix nods and stands up "I think we'd all like to know, how many kissing scenes are there?" Jungkook hits Felix's leg who chuckles
Mr park nods "I assumed someone would ask that, well there is one when they first confess...one when they sneak out together....one when Juliets father catches them, then again when Romeo's father catches them....one when they're by the fountain singing...and then one at the end when they get married.....so 6...however Romeo will kiss his Rosaline once and Juliet will kiss Paris once.....so technically 8, but that might change"
Felix sits down and smirks at jungkook, Mr park answers some more questions about the play and then everyone is dismissed to their lessons, jungkook stayed behind and walked to the group of teachers "um...excuse me?" All the teachers look at him and smile
Mr Jung (hoseok) chuckles "hello jungkook, how can we help you?" Jungkook gulps "i-i don't think I can do the play....I have really bad anxiety and stage fright...." Mr kim- Jin smiles and puts a hand on jungkooks shoulder "don't be so worried kook... we're all nervous and scared, but you'll have us all there as well as Felix and taehyung, it'll be fun!"
Jungkook nods "will Jennie be a rehearsals tonight?" Mr min nods "yes, she'll come to after school ones but not lunch time..." Jungkook smiles and bows towards them "thank you" he scurries off to his lesson quickly.
Hopefully rehearsals go well and everyone has a fun time...
