Ch 2

we filed out if the van and walked twords Tonsrem high. Tonsrem is a mix up of monster. WE wanted it to be monster high but no one would take that seriously... so we settled for our mascot to be a monster. not that we can do much sports that hide our "nationality", though we probably have many unfair advantages, like controling minds on the odd occasion, we have to really want it though, we can run super fast, and the odd glimpse of a thought that is not uncommon but still rare, helps aswell. We have football. the helmets cover horns, bite guard cover fangs, and spaytan for our white skin, even though no one cares if we are pale. its suspicious and they might think we are wierdos but no one really cares if we show up ice white. they have to be carefull not to get cut though. a kid bleeding neon blue blood would look, REALLY weird. it happened once, but luck would have it he was a red blood.

Red bloods have it easy when it comes to rough stuff around humen, but they tend to be bullied for being too alike the humans. one kid had it really bad. he had yellow/ gold hair AND red blood. his only weird color was orange eyes. needless to say he dropped out and is homeschooled.

Arian got bullied for having blue eyes once. a small thing really. blue eyes are common, Monster bullys just happen to be jerks. He loves his eyes though. if anything he teams up with Shyloh to make fun of mine.

"come on Edward. we're gonna be late for maaaath" Shyloh teased playfully.

Shyloh and Arian call everyone with gold eyes edward. like edward cullen. from twilight. you get used to it.

" Come forth fair Bella! lets go to math. shall we?" I smirked

" Ve shall." Shyloh smirked back revealing her fangs.

The rest of the day was overly normal. nothing interesting really happened. After school, We all filed back into Shyloh's van.

We dropped off Airon first, Then Shyloh dropped off me and Rayna at my house.

We both audimatically wandered into our spots. me in the bed her in my rocking chair.

" SO... you have plans friday?" Rayna gave me an evil look.

THAT couldnt be good

she heard my thought and laughed

Its hard to keep track of the mind reading thing because it doesnt quite work well on monster brains, so we only get trough now and then. humans on the other hand are open books...

" I promise we wont get in too much trouble..." She shot me a half smile

'WHAT. IS. IT" I growled impatiently.

" A halloween party"Rayna sunk down a little

" Cool" I loved halloween. were we are celrbrated :-)

" In Munville" she sunk lower

" NO"

"Pleeease"

"Are you crazy??"

" audviously ;)"

" suicidal?"

"No..."

"Then WHY is this a good idea ,????"I waved my arms angrily.

"Just for fun!!! cmon! As a little joke!" She smiled scared

"we'll get caught. no." I snarled

"Im Skia Vanter! Im a grumpy fusspot. I loooove Rayna SO much and I say we go to the party!" I gasped as soon as the words escaped my lips. mind control.

"I hate you Ray. and N-O!!" I rolled my eyes

"worth a try! we'll say we are wearing costumes!" she pleaded

" what if we get cut? how do we explain le blood? you can play off your hair, fangs and eyes but purple blood? how ya gonna do that Ray?" I raised an eye brow.

" How would get cut? It wont be just us... Shy and Arian will come too. no biggie" she smiled

"Fine." I sighed
