I woke up to the sound of knocking on my door, but before I could even say anything my mother walked in. She walked over to the window and moved the curtains to the side, the sun came in blinding me. I grabbed my pillow and put it over my head.

"Lets go today is a big day, get dressed." She said walking out of my room.

I groaned and rolled off my bed, I walked over to my closet and changed into what my mom left me on my closet couch, a pink dress and white heels I rolled my eyes throwing it over my shoulders.

Walking into my bathroom I quickly shower knowing my mother would be bugging me if I didn't hurry. I didn't wash my as I knew it would take too long to dry, I got out running a brush through my hair and putting half up. Drying off and changing nodding at myself in the mirror makeup was a no go for today.

"Drew lets go people are waiting." My mom called from outside my door.

People? What is she talking about, she would have told me we were having guest. Weird. I walked out and saw my brothers and sisters walking out of there rooms looking as confused as me.

"Mom, who is here?" I asked following her.

"Some guest." She said smiling fixing my hair and dress.

I hate that smile, I just couldn't place it though. Can she be a little less peppy this morning, please its really annoying.

"Drew stand up straight."

I sighed adjusting my posture so she doesn't poke my back with her long nails. When we reached the main hallway that turned to stairs over looking the main entry way, I looked down seeing dozens of young men chatting with one another. I looked at my mom and saw she had a big grin on her face.

"What is this?" I asked still looking at the many boys in my home.

"Well, you wanted to pick your husband so I called all the prince's that were your age. So you get to pick which boy you get to marry." She said like she earned a reward, or a big thank you. But she didn't.

"How could you, you still don't get it?" I asked stepping away from her.

"But this is what you wanted right?"

"No it isn't I want to meet somebody even if it isn't a prince and I still don't want to get married for a long time."

"You are getting married to a prince and your wedding will be when you turn 18."

"Are you serious, you're saying I have to give up my life for this." I asked gesturing towards the crowd of people who are looking at us. "Oh wait I don't have a life because you won't let me!"

"Stop it right now."

"No, you think you can control my life but you can't. So stop will you please stop!''

"I will not and this is for your own good."

"You don't know what is for my own good."

And with that I walked back to my room, but before I slammed my door I heard my mother talking.

"I'm sorry, but my daughter will not be ready until dinner tonight. You are welcome to go to your rooms and walk around the castle grounds."

Screw her, forget this I'm leaving I have to get out of here. I slammed my door so everybody in the castle could hear. Deciding a dress would not be a good choice for what I planned on doing I quickly threw on my sweatpants and a t-shirt, switching my heels for my sneakers. I opened my window and started to climb down it, knowing my mom she will be outside my door waiting for me, I missed my step and I ended up falling.

Great, i'm going to fall onto the ground and break something or worse i'm going to die. Well i'll mi-.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when somebody caught me, instead of me hitting the ground. I looked up at the mysterious person who caught me, and man was he cute. I could look at him all day if I could.

"Are you okay?" The cute guy asked me.

"Yeah I'm fine, but I didn't catch your name." I said after he put me down.

"Well, i'm Prince Hunter." He said bowing.

He looked nothing like a prince, he looked more like a regular guy.

"Oh, well hi i'm Princess Drew."

"I knew that." He said, but then looked at me. "Sorry that sounded like i'm a stalker."

"It's okay."

"So where are you going?"

"No where."

"Well i'll go no where with you." He said grabbing my hand and pulling me to the swing in the garden.

"You really know were everything is in my castle." I said but paused. "Sorry, castle sounds like i'm spoiled."

"Well I have a castle too, and I also came here early so I walked around."

Hunter and I walked towards the swing that was hanging there. It hasn't been used in a while. When we got close to it I ran over and sat down like how I used too. I missed when my dad pushed me.

"I'll push."

He started to push me and I had so much fun, going up and down. I missed swining on the swings. We were having fun because Hunter kept running underneath the swing when ever I went up. And then when I went backwards he ran underneath again. I was laughing really hard, which I haven't done in a while.

"DREW!" My mom yelled from across the garden.

Shit I forgot she thought that swining on a swing was "un-lady like".

"Sorry Hunter but I have to go duty calls." I said getting off and walking towards my mother.

When I got close enough she looked really happy and looked between me and Hunter. She raised her eyebrow and winked. I rolled my eyes and followed her back into the castle, when we got back in my mom lead me to my room. I knew what she was doing, getting me ready for the dinner tonight. I hated it, but I would get to see Hunter.
