Not Your Average Princess

Chapter 3

Well the dinner went I think alright, but something burned and something did land on one of the boys head, he left the room screaming. It was really funny, then after that I finally was allowed to escape to my room. I was up all night thinking about Hunter, he was so cute and I couldn't get him out of my head. His smile and his eyes, damn I was falling for him hard really hard. But I don't want too, damn it.

"Drew it's me." Hunter said knocking on my door poking his head in.

I jumped out of bed and ran over to the door shutting it on his face. "OUCH!" Hunter yelped.

I locked my door and ran into my closet throwing on sweatpants, grabbing a brush and a hair tie before dashing to the nearest mirror throwing my hair up into a pony tail. I looked at the mirror and breathed casually walking to the door.

"Yes?" I asked opening my door and leaning against it.

"Can I come in?" He asked rubbing the side of his head.

"Sure." I said moving out of the way to let him in.

"Really you had to slam the door on my head?" 

"I wasn't ready." I stated crossing my arms.

Hunter walked further into my room glancing around, he stopped at my dresser and examined the pictures on my dresser. He was looking at the one with me and my brother Lucas playing in the garden playing soccer, I hit him in the face after we took that picture.

"You like it?" I asked coming next to him

"Yeah, is this your brother?" He asked pointing to Lucas.

"Yeah, I hit him in the face with the ball after this was taken."

Hunter laughed and nudged me a little bit.

"So why did you come knocking on my door this morning?"

"Because I was wondering if you wanted to hang out."

"I would love to hang out."

"Good follow me." He said grabbing my hand.

"Where are you taking me?"

"Some where fun."

I laughed and followed him through out the castle. We finally reached a door, he went over to it and opened. He grabbed my hand again and pulled me up the stairs with the door shutting behind us. When we got to the top of the stairs there was another door, he opened it and it lead to the roof.

"We aren't allowed up here." I said trying to pull him back.

"Who's going to know?" He questioned, he had a point so I let it be.

"So why did you decide to drag me up here?" I asked wanting to know his motives.

"Well I don't have a good answer for you I just thought you'd like the view." He said shrugging his shoulders, sitting down patting the spot next to him.

"You're right." I rolled my eyes and sat next too him. I was looking out and saw the whole town, I've only been there twice. It is a really pretty town though.

"Come on princess relax a little." He paused gazing over the town as well. "It's nice up here." 

"Yeah, I've been up here a couple of times but I didn't go the long way."

"There's another way up here?"

"Yeah. Want to see?"

"Yes."

"Well come on." I said getting up.

I lead him to the edge of the roof, this was going to be fun.

"What are you doing?" He ask backing away from the edge.

"Come on don't be a baby." I stated sitting on the edge ready to scare him.

"Drew this doesn't look safe though." But he still sat down next to me.

"Okay grab onto this vine and launch yourself when I tell you to do so." I said grabbing my vine and handing him one.

"Wait-" he said but I didn't let him finish, because I jumped off pushing him off with me.

We were falling and Hunter was screaming luckily he still had his grip on the vine, and I was laughing so hard. I saw that we were getting closer to the ground and we were almost at the spot I swung myself over grabbing his vine and pushed my feet onto the wall we stopped, and we were just hanging there. 

"Was that fun?" I asked climbing into the window that was always open.

"You really do that." He asked climbing through the window too.

"Yeah, I mean I haven't don it in a while and I didn't know if it would work."

"So we could have died?"

"Yep." I said popping the p and walking out of the little supply closet.

"You're crazy."

"Don't know if I should take that as a compliment or not?" I giggled pushing him lightly as we walked down the hallway.

"I don't think anyone has scared me as much as you."

"I'm taking pride in that statement." 

He laughed rolling his eyes lightly pushing me back, so far Hunter is winning my heart and it's scaring me.
