Chapter thirty

Ty's POV

I ran out of the house after calling Adam about lyth who was in a car crash. Zeek came with me as we rushed out the house, the others would take Rosie and Cy. We hopped into the car hearing the last verse of 'people like us' by Kelly Clarkson. We rushed all the way to the hospital meeting Adam at the front trying to get in.

"I'm sorry sir but she's under surgery at the moment" she said with a firm tone. "DO YOU NOT GET IT, IM HER FATHER" Adam screamed trying desperately to hold back tears. I placed my hand on Adams shoulder and he turned around engulfing me into a hug, holding me fighting sobbing. "It's okay Adam, I'm sure she will be fine" i reassured him not completely reassuring myself.

"DRAKE" we turned around to see a guy in a wheel chair strolling down the hall with another man who looks similar to him running over to him. "Holy crud man we thought we lost you for good, how is she?" The boy asked. "She's in surgery, I wish it were me in there not her" drake looked down frowning.

"Ty?" I turned to see skylar running over to us. "Why are you guys here?" She asked pulling away. "Lyth was in an accident" I said still trying to calm down Adam. "She's the girl in surgery, isn't she?" Sky asked looking down and sad. "Yea, she is, I can hear her heart beating though" Zeek said sitting down next to Greyson.

"Creepy but okay" I said pulling Adam to a seat. Sky sat down next to us and drake had to go back to his room. We waited and I think the rest of the guys came but fell asleep while we waited. I stayed up the longest along with mitch, Ian, skylar, and Zeek. "The Dalhburg family?" A doctor walked in looking over the sea of youtubers. I woke up everyone and we got up.

"Oh, large family, um whose her close family?" She tried again. Everyone but Adam, Zeek, Cy, skylar, Rosie, and I sat down. "Okay follow me" she motioned for us to follow. "Okay, well she still in a coma like state but should wake up soon, when she wakes up expect for her to be slow on things, she got hurt in the head pretty badly, she might not remember you at first so please don't go to fast otherwise she might not comprehend anything" she explained before we were let in.

When we got in and settled she looked paler than usual. Almost dead, like that time she tricked us on playing dead when she was seventeen. Zeek sat down next to her and Adam took the other side holding her hand. "She's cold" he said softly. "No shit" she muttered softly. We all sprang up to her but she was still out of it.

"Maybe she can here us" Sky said. Her movements were slow like the doctor said but she was still out of action. Cy stood by her and clutched her hand. The door sprang open and revealed Isaac and Nikki standing there running over to there sister. "How?" Nikki asked holding back a scream.

"Car accident, but she has healer blood, why isn't she walking up?" Rosie asked confused. "I think she took drakes wounds and his coma state, other wise she should be awake by now" Isaac explained. "And how do you know that?" Cy asked. "My girlfriend and I were in the same situation, I took her pain away only leaving her with minor injuries like a broken leg or arm."

"Drake has a broken leg" Sky said recalling what she saw earlier. "Then there you go, she should wake up in a few hours or so with most of the pain gone, say was she in surgery?" Isaac asked to where we nodded at once. "Uh oh" he quickly closed the door locking it. "She's here" he muttered walked over to the window opening it. "Whose here" Adam asked confused but worried.

"She didn't need to go into surgery, she just needed to have some life support which she doesn't need anymore, but she's here and we need to get her to safety" Isaac opened the window fully and turned dragon along with Nikki. "Wait whose she?" Cy asked as Zeek morphed half way.

"She just so happens to be our mother who wants lyth dead. Isaac got the information from our aunt who took care of us when we were younger" Nikki explained unhooking the wires from lyth's lifeless body. "You guys need to leave the way you came in fast, were taking the window, get drake, Greyson, and Armen out of her because they will use them against us, don't try anything stupid, Zeek make the distraction and run into the woods near here, got it?" Isaac ordered.

Zeek nodded opening the door and making the distraction, screams were heard and we took off. I glanced back to see both Isaac and Nikki flying out the window with Isaac holding onto lyth's lifeless body. Greyson was pushing drake out the hospital as Zeek was growling and making a huge mess.

The team was out in the car and van as we hopped in with Zeek who was half way morphed and then completely human. "Didn't he tell you to run into the woods?" Rosie asked. "Yea but I do what I want, besides no one saw me run over here, so DRIVE LIKE HELL" he yelled at husky who was in front driving.

We drive home to see a note on the door steps. Adam picked it up and read it over and over. "What is it?" Jason asked. "They took lyth to someplace safe, says we have to follow a fiddling trail to find them" he said sighing. I took the note from him and read it.

I learned to laugh. I learned to cry. Will I ever learn to say good bye?, where do you think she learned this?

I read over the riddle before skylar took it out of my hands. "Really, you don't know your daughter that we'll do you? She has been emotionless for years until you guys adopted her, where do you think she had learnt this, from you guys having fun with her, from her crying over a break up, from trying so hard to say good bye before we left?" She dated inside upstairs. Mitch went after her seeming to know what was happening.

"UPSTAIRS HER ROOM" Cy yelled following them. Soon we were all off for this scavenger hunt for lyth.
