I walked out of my room. It was about seven. Aaron was sitting on the couch with his dog. His dog ran over wagging his tail. I smiled and bent down to pet him.
"He really likes you," Aaron laughed.
"Well I like him too," I smiled. Alex licked my face and I giggled. I stood up and went into the kitchen. I grabbed a bag of popcorn and put it in the microwave.
"Do you want to watch a show with me?" He asked.
"Sure, what do you want to watch?" I asked.
"I'm not sure. I feel like binging something new," He said.
"Have you watched The Office?" I asked.
"Not yet. I've heard it's good," He said as I took the popcorn out of the microwave.
"It's really funny and I've been thinking about re-watching it recently," I said. He put in another bag into the microwave.
"Ok, we can watch it," He said as I poured the popcorn into a bowl. I smiled and walked into the living room. I turned on Netflix and went into his account. I pulled The Office up as he came and sat down next to me. I turned on the first episode and leaned back on the couch. I felt his arm go up on the couch behind me. I blushed and we watched The Office for hours. After lots of laughs it was one in the morning. I was going to say something, but decided not to. I enjoyed spending time with him. At around two in the morning we had finished season two. We turned it off, but instead of going to bed we sat there talking.
"Tell me about that guy who asked you out the other day," Aaron said.
"Well, the two of us have been friends since we were fourteen. We've always been close. He would always tell me about his crushes and I would help him with them. He would do the same for me. I never would have considered he liked me," I said still wondering if he had ever shown any sign he liked me.
"If you don't mind me asking, how old are you?" He asked.
"Twenty-three, how old are you?" I asked.
"Twenty-seven," He replied. Four years apart. We continued to talk for hours until we both fell asleep on the couch.
