I sighed. Just another day at work. Being a barista was kind of boring. It paid decently so I stayed with it. Suddenly a familiar face came through the door. It was Ein. He had a girl holding his hand and I smiled at him.
"Hey, Ein! Who's the pretty girl?" I asked. I was happy for him. It was kinda soon for him to be dating someone after he got rejected like three days ago.
"This is Evelyn. My new girlfriend," He smiled.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Aphmau, Ein's high school friend," I smiled. She just looked me up and down with a look of disgust. I looked at Ein and he shrugged.
"Alright what can I do for you?"
"I'll just do a cappuccino," Ein said pulling out his credit card.
"What about you?" I asked Evelyn.
"Mocha Frappuccino," She said coldly.
"Alright, I'll get those ready," I said after Ein payed. I went back and made the drinks. I handed them to the two of them.
"Have a nice day," I smiled.
"You too," Ein said. I sighed a sigh of relief when they left. She seemed a little bratty for a nice guy like him. If he loved her then so be it. I saw another familiar face which made me smile. It was Aaron.
"Hey, Aaron," I said with a smile.
"Hey, Aph, can I get a Chai Latte?" He asked.
"Sure thing, coming right up," I said as he swiped his credit card. I made his drink and handed him it to him.
"Have a nice day," I smiled at him.
"You too," He said.
