< I really like this song •w• >
You live in UT. But don't believe in monsters or the Mt. Ebott stories.
You are (y/n), and you are a normal person. Or so you thought.
<Your POV>
I was sitting in my room, sketching my late pet hamster; Clover. Clover died a few days ago, but I can feel her presence here with me. She was a beautiful hamster, her fur was tan and spotted with dark brown. And she had bright green eyes. Luckily I have pictures of her and I on my bedroom wall, for reference. <I live by myself and I'm lonely so, I don't really have pictures of family or friends> I finished the sketch and started my inking process.
During the inking, one of my pens exploded. It got all over the floor, and myself. Fortunately it only got on a corner of my drawing. I sighed, and went to get something to clean this mess up.
I came back with different clothes, and cleaning supplies. But as soon as I approached the ink spill, more ink started to rise from it. Dropping the supplies, I quickly hid behind the nearest thing. Which was my art board. <A large chalkboard with drawings and paintings clipped onto it> I looked through a gap between the wood frame. The ink was forming into, something? Moments later the ink disappeared and there stood a skeleton.
'WHAT IN THE—I thought skeletons were a myth! If not extinct!' I exclaimed in my head.The skeleton looked around confused. Every time it blinked the shape of it's pinpricks would change.
"Hmm...Is this the place I'm looking for? I can't remember." The skeleton asked itself. Judging by it's voice, it sounded male.The skeleton looked behind him to see my desk with the drawing. He picked it up and studied it.
"I wonder who drew this....They must really be talented!" The skeleton said.I blushed slightly. Being as I just got complemented. Soon the skeleton put my drawing down. And saw my art board. He came up to it and started to look at my art. He was mumbling stuff I couldn't understand. I was hunched up in a ball trying to stay out of view. With my hand gripped tightly on my crystal pendant.
The skeleton finally looked away from the board, and to my room. He must've seen the pictures of Clover and I, because he suddenly asked himself.
"Wait, isn't that the human I'm supposed to find?" The skeleton asked himself.I gulped hearing this. 'Why is this guy looking for me? Or someone that looks like me that is' I thought to myself.
The skeleton started to walk towards the door that led out of my room. Once he stepped out of my room, I shifted in my cramped spot. Of course to my dismay, my arm hit a stand with pencils and other stuff on it. Causing the whole stand to fall over. The skeleton whipped his head around towards where the stand was. I started to get really scared now. 'What if it hurts me? What if it wants revenge on humans?' I started panicking.
I watched as the skeleton got closer. He eyed the stand. I had curled up into a tight ball, and was trying not to cry.
<???'s POV>
I was about to leave the room. When I heard a loud thud behind me. I whipped my head around and saw a stand on the floor.
'How did—That's weird' I thought to myself.
I grabbed my paintbrush. And pointed it at the stand. Picking the stand up, I looked around where the stand had fell. Not seeing anything at first, set the stand back up. Just as I turned around, I heard a small whimper from behind the board covered in art. I moved the board aside and pointed my paintbrush at something in the corner. Small cries and whimpers were coming from it.
<Your POV>
I started to cry as I heard my art board move. Slowly I moved my head to be met with a...Large paintbrush? The skeleton stood in front of me, holding the brush out almost threateningly. He looked at me, before pulling the brush away.
"Oh! I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you or anything.. I was sent to find you" The skeleton told me.
I started to uncurl myself. And wipe the tears off my face. I looked up at the skeleton. He held out a hand for me to grab. Uncertainty was written on my face, but I grabbed his hand.
"Once more, sorry if I scared you. My name's Ink!" Ink said.
"H-Hi. I'm uh, (y/n) but you probably already know that.." I said, after Ink helped me off the floor.
"Oh! And this is Broomie!" Ink gestured at the paintbrush.
"So, erm... Why were you sent to find me?" I asked, while fiddling with my fingers.
"There's a major problem in the Multiverse, and we need help!" Ink said."W-We? Whose we?" I asked.
"Oh, some friends of mine. Don't worry about it they're nice!" Ink answered. "Most anyway.." He muttered to himself.
"Anyway! C'mon we need to get to the Refuge Au!" Ink grabbed my hand.
Giving me no chance to say anything, Ink pulled me through what seemed to be a portal. And my vision faded to black.
< Author-Chan here! This is not the first chapter, just a prologue. And uh, expect slow updates. I'm slow >
