Oasis: Reflections

Following in right behind Kaz, Thomas dives into the cave after him going in he feels a sort of shift in the atmosphere as they do enter but in a sudden swift moment, they're both suddenly thrown down into a dark slope causing them both to fall deeper into the cave. Thomas now getting back to his feet looks around only to now see that he was underneath some sort of underground forest gems all around lighting up the caves with their blue light buzzing to life.

Taking a moment to take in the sight he sees around him golden pieces of light coming together in the air just casually going around only to realize it they were just small fireflies. But just as he comes to realize this he also notices Kaz is still nowhere in sight but just seeing some footprints he decides to take pursuit.

Meanwhile with Kaz just a couple of minutes earlier.

Diving into the Cave Kaz is suddenly met with something pulling at him this feeling of dread rests on his mind as he enters he's met with a cloaked figure just standing there as if just waiting for his appearance.

Kaz: And who are you supposed to be?

Cloaked figure: Whoever you suppose I am.

Kaz: I'm not in the mood for riddles. Where is she?

Cloaked figure: She?

Kaz: Look if you want to play games then I can play. Because me and my friend are leaving here and there is nothing you can do about it!

Lunging himself at the being he wastes no time in knocking them into the wall causing the wall to erupt into pieces. Before he could follow up the attack the person gets up to counter only to be stopped by another hand reaching out to stop his attack.

Kaz: What the--

Looking at the hand of the mysterious being Kaz realized it was another cloaked being but this one seemed different somehow more alive yet more unsettling than the person he had been talking to prior the only thing Kaz could make out was the disinvite white long hair and the toothy smile underneath the hood that the person wore.

Hooded figure: Wow look at you. It's been a while since I've met someone with such liveliness to them. Sorry for my friend she's new here.

Kaz: She?

Looking back at the other person who still laying there Kaz peers more closely at them and realize it was Arian who he had knocked down. Jumping from this he rushes to her side only to now see a part of her skin had turned glass-like all across the left side of her arm and face.

Kaz: Arian! Wha-What happened to you why are you like this?

Hooded figure: She wasn't worthy of the challenge.

Kaz: Challenge? What challenge?

Hooded figure: Everyone who enters must face the challenge of facing themselves.

Kaz: Which means what exactly?

Before answering the question, the area around them changes into a more open arena now being faced with what seemed like hundreds of people spectating over him with both Arian and the hooded figure nowhere in sight.

Kaz: What in the world

Announcer: Facing a match-up as old as time itself--himself!
