            A year ago. Charlie's pub.

Making her way across the crowded room, Arian serves two people a tray of food before going over to the bar to refill a couple of drinks all in the meanwhile of  wiping down the counter with a rag in her other hand.  Upon seeing charlie return from upstairs she rushes over to him almost knocking some people in the process.

Arian: How is he?

Charlie: He's fine. All his injuries from this morning are completely healed however--

Arian:  (still worried)  However?

Charlie: He's still unconscious. There's no telling when he'll wake up.

Arian: I see. Thanks for the update.

Letting her head sink she goes to return back to her daily routine only to be stopped by Charlie.

Charlie: Arian it's your birthday, you should be celebrating not working.

Arian:  Then who would help you here in my absence? Certainly not Kaz your always sending off god knows where for deliveries. You need me here.

Noticing how stressed she was Charlie kneels down takes out a small little wrapped gift and hands it to her.

Charlie: Just ten minutes, please. That's all I'm asking.

Arian: Alright but only ten minutes.

Charlie: *sighs then smiles*  I swear one of these days if you're not careful you're going to work yourself to death.

Arian:*laughs* yeah, yeah. God only knows what would happen if that were to happen. You two would be lost without me.

       Present day. Abandoned church.

Upon seeing Thomas just appear there suddenly General Badowich and his men look at him confused giving Kaz more than enough time to escape from Badowich's grasp using his strength to punch him back. But as a result, his hand starts to tremble from a weird burning sensation.

Kaz: what the--

General Badowich: Wolf's bane my boy. Here have some more.

Sending a punch his way, Kaz immediately ducks down avoiding the blow only to suddenly be kneed in the face thanks to General Badowich new found speed.

Thomas: Kaz!

Seeing his friend in danger he rushes over to help him only to freeze up at the sight of oncoming arrows being shot at him by the archers still in the room.

Almost instinctively Thomas' eyes light up radiating the color orange making the overall expression on his face unusually calm as the arrows heading towards him burned away midair failing to reach him he proceeds by extending his hand to them shooting out a stream of fire not to harm them but to separate them from General Badowich as they had no choice but to flee due to the quickly spreading fire.

Seeing this General Badowich reaches for his sword to finish off Kaz only for Thomas to appear out of thin air catching his sword easily with his right hand and creating what looked like a fireball in his left sending the general flying back into a wall impact

Turning his attention to Kaz who of which was knocked unconscious by the general he teleports them out of the now-burning building leaving Badowich at the moment the ceiling above gave away.

Meanwhile in the city of Aramoor two minutes ago.

Walking down the streets of the vast city Arian stops upon hearing someone call her name. But looking back she doesn't see anyone so she continues walking being ever so cautious with each step, she wasn't supposed to be there and yet there she was breaking the rules, something was wrong she could feel it in her bones.

About a month ago she had woken up to this strange longing feeling at first it started small but then it slowly grew into what some would call homesickness however that was the problem ever since she was a kid she had been alone an orphan on the streets in fact, no family and no friends. However the more she thought about it the more something just felt off...about it.

Looking down she digs in her satchel taking out a small chard handbook, she had found it shortly after her herbs and potions class it had just been lying there on her bed but the shock came in when she opened it up to see a note inside; " happy birthday Arian hope this gets you started on what you were meant to do."- love Charlie. There had been an address written beside the note in her handwriting.    Taking off the hood of her cloak she enters what looked like a library nonetheless but frowns upon seeing how big the place was.

Arian: *mumbles*  so much for trying to find the librarian.

???: Librarian? Did you say you were trying to look for the librarian?

Looking to the left she sees a girl around her age with two books pressed to her chest and her long black hair tied in a ponytail which oddly complemented both her pale skin and her subtle but gracious features.

Arian: uh yes, do you know where one is perhaps?

???: Just go straight down then take a right she's always in her office, so you should find her there.

Arian: thank you so much uh...

???:  *Extends her hand*  Teodora. It's nice to meet you, Arian.

Arian: How did you--

Pointing to Arian's satchel that had her name sewn into it Arian laughs shaking Teodora's hand.

Arian: *chuckles * My apologies I forgot that was there.

Teodora: Happens to the best of us. Well, I'll be seeing you then.

Now knowing which way to go Arian follows Teodora's instructions but upon making the right she looks back to see that the girl she was speaking to was gone without a trace.

Meanwhile back at Charlie's Tavern.

Waking up in his bed he looks side to side suddenly startled his clothes were somewhat burnt and Brien was nowhere to be seen but Charlie was right there in front of him sitting down in a chair.

Kaz: what--  what happened. Where's Truman?

Charlie: Still resting in the other room. But Kaz I saw her.

Kaz: Her? Are you talking about Arian if so where is she? Is she oka--

Going to move out the bed Charlie motions him to stop with his hand as an uneasy look in his eyes grew.

Kaz: Charlie? What's wrong?

Charlie: You might want to stay seated for this next part it's not going to be easy to hear.
