Oasis: In the beginning part three

Just as both Kaz and Arian get pushed down the cliff they fall into a body of water but upon impact, Kaz immediately starts to sink having trouble swimming up. Picking up on this Arian swims to him bringing the two back up and onto solid land

Coughing up some water Kaz tries to get back on his feet only to find he didn't have the strength his body now shaking wildly, looking at where they fell thoughts of what took place began to pop into his mind.

His home, his village, his own mother...gone all gone upon hearing something Kaz's thoughts go blank now facing his crying friend.

Arian: Everyone they're gone my dad your mom Mr. Smith..... everyone.

Breaking down even further she cries, even more, not knowing what to do Kaz tries to walks over to comfort her only to stop himself halfway.

Kaz: Arian we can't stay here we got to leave before someone finds us.

Arian: (crying) where would we go? My dad was the only family I had and now he's.... he's---

Unable to finish her sentence she only continues sobbing, reaching out to her Kaz holds her tight still having no idea what to do or say but the moment is short-lived as they hear something from a nearby bush, and not long after two soldiers come out holding torches in their hands.

Solider#1: well look what we have here. A bunch of snot-nose brats. What should we do with them?

Solider#2: I don't care let's just get rid of them.

Solider#1: Ugh. Honestly your no fun man.

Placing himself in front of Arian he shifts her behind him as the men continued coming in closer. Having no other place to run Kaz steps up to the men only to easily get backhanded sending him to the floor while Arian gets snatched up.
Forcing his body back up Kaz gets struck down once more by the same man but this time makes sure to plant his foot down onto Kaz's chest keeping him from moving an inch.

Handing Arian off to his companion he returns his eyes to Kaz who hadn't given up in trying to break free, pulling out his crossbow he aims straight for the head, and for a moment Kaz's eyes drift to the sky everything seemly slowing around him.
Peeking from the clouds above a light spreads though out their surroundings with its pale face now creeping into the water much to Kaz's astonishment making his body stop shaking as he goes to touch where the man had placed his foot.

Hearing the other man let out a scream he looks over to find Kaz relentlessly scratching into the man's face digging deeper and deeper not bothering to slow down he keeps going despite his attacker's pleas for mercy.

Stunned by the sight he drops Arian going for his crossbow on his side

Arian: k-Kaz! Watch out!

Letting out a feral growl he launches himself full speed towards his next target getting shot in the arm in the process sending him back as a result the man goes to reload only to be too late Kaz having jumped onto his body and biting into his neck tearing it clean out before letting the body drop.

Witnessing such a sight Arian only holds her breath eyeing Kaz not knowing what to do, from a crouched position he turns to her pacing back and forth keeping his attention solely on her.

Arian: Kaz- it's me Arian.

With a snarl, he approaches closer and closer his body practically growing in size with each step he takes only to then take a certain stop now lowering the upper part of his body leaping at her.
