Today was the day. Finally. I've been waiting for this day to come for years, and trust me, it hasn't been fun. All the stress, pressure, anxiety, and nerves all came to me at this very moment. I was going to do it. Where did I even get this courage from? Maybe this wasn't a good idea after all. But even if it wasn't, I had promised everyone that I would do it so here I am. Today is the day I'm going to defy my father. And whatever the consequences are going to be, I'm ready.
