Alexis

It's was 6 am my alarm clock just went off alerting me that's it's time for my shitty ass 9-5. I rolled over grabbing my phone hopping to see a text from Khalil just as I expected nothing. Khalil and I have been together on and off every since I was 16, now I'm a few months shy of 23 and I really don't see the point anymore. I roll out of bed and start my daily hygiene and then call my Uber and head to this dreading ass warehouse. Don't get it twisted all tho I work in this dirty ass establishment I still come to work fly and all though Khalil can't get his shit together I'm still happy and doing me. I clock in and start my day a day that I never expected to change my whole entire life. As I'm making my order drops I feel a pair of eyes not normal eyes these pair of eyes they burn through my soul I look up and lock in contact with a pure God I quickly look away and continue my work so I can be on time to lunch. Know y'all know I'm the first one to clock out for lunch but not today, Today he's there first but let's me step ahead I smile and say thank you he asks my name and I tell him Alexis I ask his and he tells me Fate from then on I should have know this was going to be one hell of a ride. After I heat up my food I walk out to sit with my work friends but once again her is this man this mystery this god I'm intrigued I wanna know more, so instead of sitting with them I sit with him. My whole lunch hour was calm I wasn't on the phone cussing out Khalil or I wasn't texting him asking what was his problem because at this exact moment Fate was what I wanted Fate made me feel like I needed more although I barely even had any. Close to the end Khalil calls fate looks over waiting for my move I picked the phone up and pressed decline it was then he knew he had me it was then he knew exactly how to play his cards until I was his and I'm pretty sure with all the work he wasn't putting in it wasn't going to be long before Khalil was sent packing and Fate was here to stay.
