I made it home that night checking my phone of course after a few missed calls from Khalil the texts started to come in

Now Khalil was never physically abusive towards me but I can't say to much for the walls we shared in our home. By now none of his threats bothered me because Khalil had left me at a time where I needed him the most. (Flashback May 10 2019, I was 3 months pregnant with what I hoped would be our first child but on this particular day something wasn't right I was having sharp pains and heavily bleeding so I decided to take a trip to the hospital after sitting hours in the hospital we were informed something I had already knew but just hoped wasn't true I was in the process of a miscarriage. I was prescribed my medication and told to go home and get lots of rest. The next day Khalil was on his way back to Palmdale chasing a dream and leaving me with this burden) I decided that I'd call him back after my bath and after I cooked dinner of course I was in no rush for the disaster of the conversation we were about to have. You see I wasn't just dealing with Khalil whenever he needed me I was dealing with my best friend Ava when ever she called I'd drop everything, and then there was my family who didn't know the meaning of boundaries but I couldn't let that break me I had to win to succeed to change. My phone beeped and I picked it up expecting it to be satan but I smiled when I seen his name the simple text said it all in just 2 little words

I was stunned here I was building a wall to block Khalil out and here was fate passing me the bricks I needed to help keep Khalil away forever. I finally called Khalil back and we spent the whole night arguing as expected I was every bitch hoe slut or just anything he can wrap his brain around, so when I woke up the next day I decided that I was going to make a change Khalil was no longer going to hold me back because after last night I was fully chasing Fate.
