Sweetpea pov
I finally get to pops as i pull into a parking spot and realize Jones was already here. I turn the engine off then sit there a minute sorta going back and forth wondering if i should even go in or not. But then i sigh as i say to myself, 'stop being a wimp sweetpea just go in.' I then get out of the truck and walk in to pops as i see jones sitting in a booth. He seems to have a serious look on his face it almost scares me, but i take a deep breath as i walk over and sit in the booth. He looks at me and says, "where have you been? I thought you wanted to meet at 2 it's ten minutes after 2." I tilt my head from side to side as i sigh and say, " yeah i did say 2. But i sat out in the parking lot i almost couldn't come in." Jones then looked confused he says, "why not? What is wrong with you lately sweetpea?" I then run my hand over the back of my neck, as i lean in close over the table a bit as i whisper. "You and i both know what happened at the pool party, at the end of summer and i think we need to address it." Jones got that confused but nervous look on his face as he says, "What you mean that we were both hurt and confused, so we tried to find comfort in each other." I then roll my head again saying, " well yes but you and i both know that it may have been more than that. It's just up to us which one of us admits it first." Jones then leans back crossing his arms over his chest, letting out a scuff as he says. "First to admit what exactly Sweetpea? What do you think there is to admit?" I then take a deep breath as i say, "the feelings that were there at the pool party jones. We were splashing each other, and i touched your thigh Jones come on i know you see it." Jones then sits there not saying much of anything for the next few minutes.
