"I have to do this alone" , he explained to astara, as he pushed her back into the TARDIS. She protested, but the doctor had no comment. He clicked his fingers and the doors slam shut.

It was a bright day, the sky was blue and the sun was out shining in the sky. The doctor had set the co-ordinates to earth, in about November 2020. He quite liked the new TARDIS console room, it was fresh and new, and it suited him.
He had a flash back from a few minutes ago, and thought why he suddenly left astara in the TARDIS. It was because he knew he had to do it alone, things would get messy with her.

The Doctor continued to walk down the street, in his purple velvet jacket. He reached a block of flats. He started at it for a while, but then slowly walked up the never-ending pavement, to the entrance and then all the way up the stairs, until he reached a door.
He took a slow, and large deep breath, and he knocked on the door 4 times in a heart beat rhythm. There was then a few voices, and low screeching of female voices, but the door opened, and stood in front of the doctor, was Yazmin Khan.
"Hello, how can I help?" , she asked the doctor politely.
The doctor was struggling not to smile. He couldn't stop thinking about her reaction when he told her that he was the doctor, and then how him, Yaz, Graham and Ryan could go off again. He was relived that she was alive. At the back of his mind, he was worried that they'd got killed on Astara thousands of years ago.
The doctor realised he was stood still, not saying anything. He opened his mouth to speak, "I'm looking for Graham o'brien, do you know where he lives?", He asked. He seriously did wonder if him and Ryan weren't living together anymore, or something like that.
Yaz's smile and grin dropped. Her head dropped to the ground, but quickly rose up again.
" why are you asking? "
"I'm an old friend of his", the doctor said trying not to seem worried. "We go way back".
" I'm sorry" yaz replied.
The doctor heard a shout, from a familiar voice in the background. Ryan sinclar, was calling for Yaz. Maybe they're together now, thought the doctor.
The doctor cringed. He didn't like couples. Maybe that was apart of his new personality.
Yaz looked awkward, but she continued to speak.
"He passed away, a month ago. His cancer came back"

A rush of sadness hit the doctor like a wave. He pushed his glasses onto his nose, and nodded his head.
"Were ya good mates?" Yaz asked.
"You could say that yeah", he replied, whilst looking behind him trying to find a way out of the conversation.
" I'm sorry, we've found it difficult too", she paused. "Do you want to come in for tea? I'm not supposed to invite stranger's in but".
The doctor turned around, and began to walk away, "I'm busy, sorry" he called back.
"No more time for tea at Yaz's?" She called out with a smile. The doctor walked away and didn't hear, and Yaz always wondered, if she had met the doctor again that day
