Chapter 10: Mixed Signals

After he asked me to do his homework. My day was ruined. But when he said party that's where am going tonight. He had another thing coming towards him. I went home and thought about what I was going to wear then it came to me. I looked and found the perfect outfit (A/N On the side of above). I curled my hair and made it into a bow. I grabbed my bag and walked out of the door.

"Tris? Where are you going" my mom yelled

"To a party no worries I'll be safe and back soon" I yelled

I walked out and grabbed my keys to my Porsche. I rode to the party when I arrived all eyes were on me. Boys were drooling and girls were getting jealous. But I didn't really care I was here for one thing only. Mystery boy. I looked around I didn't really see. I walked around and felt a arm wrap around my waist I looked at him, it was mystery boy. He smiled at me I couldn't really help not to smile back.

"What are you even doing here?" He asked me

"Oh nothing really am just chilling. Wait what's your name anyway.?" I asked

"Jacob but call me Jake Tris" he told me. I smiled..

"Tris Tris Tris" I heard someone yelling. Steve
He grabbed me harmfully I looked at Jake with pleading eyes.

"Let her go" he said coldly but calmly.. Steve didn't let go or say anything.
"Let me go" I started whining and stomping my feet. Jake grabbed me and pulled me behind his back.

"You hurt my girl and I'll break your fingers" Jake said coldly. His girl went up when I heard that. I blushed deeply her saw me and smirked.
We left Steve and the party we walked to my Porsche. I threw him the keys. When we got into the car I laid my seat all the way down and slept. I woke up and found us in front of my house I was in his arms.

"Hey sleepy head your awake" Jake said I giggled. He kissed my nose and my cheek softly. "I'll pick you up tomorrow ok?"

"Yeah il see you then Jakey." I said unlocking my door I went in and laid down in my bed and instantly feel asleep.
