Indie slowly got out of her car and entered the paintball place. She was freaking out on the inside, but she didn't show it on it outside.
She pushed the door open and grinned when she caught Sophia's eye. "Indie!" She shouted, drawing the attention of Jack, Finn, Jaeden, Chosen, Jeremy, and Wyatt.
Sophia ran to Indie and hugged her tightly, she hugged back while giggling.
When Sophia pulled away she smiled widely at her. "You look even prettier than you do in your photos!" She said and Indie blushed.
"So do you!!"
"Hey!" Jaeden was behind Sophia waving his hand.
"Hi!" Indie hugged him and then greeted the other losers until it was just Wyatt left.
"Hi," The corners of Wyatt's mouth turned up, and so did Indie's.
She pulled him into a hug and he hugged back. When they finally pulled away Indie turned to the group.
"It's so nice to finally meet all of you!"
"Same!" They all said in union and laughed.
"So have you guys decided the teams yet?" She asked.
"Finn and me are on a team." Jack informed her.
"Chosen and me are on a team." Jeremy piped in.
"And I'm on a team with Jaeden." Sophia turned to the strawberry blonde. "I was gonna be on a team with you but Jaeden is really bad and needs my help."
"Oh, it's totally fine!" That meant she was on a team with Wyatt. A blush spread across her face as she remembered what she dmmed Wyatt.
"Looks like we're on a team." Wyatt's voice pulled her out of her thoughts, and she smiled.
"Yeah! This is going to be fun!"
"Okay, ready?" Wyatt questioned. They were now all dressed in paintball outfits and helmets and were about to go into the arena.
"Ready." She answered and held her gun tighter.
"So we only really need to worry about Jack, Finn, Sophia, and Chosen."
Indie laughed. "That's like the whole group,"
He chuckled too. "Yeah, you're right."
The buzzer rang signaling that they could go in. Wyatt and Indie exchanged looks and entered the arena.
It was mostly open but there were containers, rocks, and scraps of metal to hide behind. Indie was guessing everyone was hiding because she didn't seem anyone when they entered.
"This way." Wyatt said and nodded toward the left of them.
Indie followed Wyatt behind a scrap of metal and bent down so no one could see her. "So I might've lied when I said I was good at paintball." She whispered with a small laugh.
Wyatt chuckled. "I suspected that."
"You suspected that? You do realize I am holding a gun right now and I could shoot you if I wanted."
"You wouldn't." Wyatt teased.
"Oh, I think I would." A giggle erupted out of Indie and Wyatt's throats, but they quickly covered their mouths, so they wouldn't give out their locations. They probably already it though.
"They totally heard us." Wyatt said and looked to see if everyone was still hiding. "I think I just saw Sophia."
"We should attack soon." Indie suggested.
"Yeah, let's go on three, okay?"
"Okay."
"One, two," The strawberry blonde got into position and put her finger on the trigger of the gun. "Three!" She stood from her spot and followed Wyatt.
Suddenly, Jaeden and Sophia came out and started shooting at them, Indie ducked and so did Wyatt. She grabbed Wyatt's hand and dragged him behind a rock, then she peeked out from behind it and shot at them.
Somehow she ended up hitting Jaeden in the leg and accidentally shooting Jeremy who was running for cover.
"Holy crap, you're good." Wyatt said while trying to catch his breath.
"Really? I wasn't even trying." She smirked at the curly-haired boy, he shook his head and smiled in return.
