Noriaki woke up to a loud ringing sound. He stood up sleepily to see it was his alarm clock. His eyes still half-open, he gets out of bed and gets ready for school. He couldn't believe it was already Monday, but he had to go to school. He heads down to the kitchen and eats toast with cherry jam. He grabs his things and heads out the door.

He looks around, it turns out he doesn't live too far from the school. At most, it was a 10-minute walk. He takes a turn and he notices Jotaro. His head hung low. He didn't seem to be troubled. Noriaki walks up to his friend.

"Hi-"

Jotaro turns in surprise. "Kakyoin! You scared me."

"Ah, that wasn't my intention, I'm sorry."

Jotaro grinned slightly, "Yare yare daze. You're good."

Noriaki grinned. "Okay. What're your classes?" Noriaki pulled out his schedule and handed it to Jotaro.

"We have a few classes. I'll show you the way around the school." Jotaro said as he began to slightly walk faster., Noriaki catching up.

A few minutes later, They arrived at the school, Noriaki following his new friend inside. Jotaro was immediately swarmed with schoolgirls. All asking him favors and such. Some even looked at Noriaki, asking if he was new. Noriaki just nodded his head. 'Jotaro must be really popular...'

"Shut up and go away!" Jotaro answered sternly. They all moved and gave him a pathway. Noriaki looked around, trying to take it all in.

"You didn't have to be so rude to them, Jotaro."

Jotaro ignored him, He introduced him to where his classes are. Then they both went to their first class of the day. "You can sit anywhere," Jotaro told him. Kakyion chooses the seat in front of Jotaro. Soon after, the teacher walks in and the lecture begins.

Jotaro doesn't pay attention much. He looked up at Noriaki, who was taking notes. He pays attention to the small things about him, however. Like the way his red hair shines in the sunlight emitting from the classroom windowpane and how his earrings moved when he did. A nice view.

Jotaro would notice Noriaki would look through the window. His bored eyes playfully looking for something to stare at other than the lecture. His violet hues place on Jotaro, who turns his head on time. Noriaki had grinned and turned around.

The lectures end soon enough. The students are dismissed from class and go to lunch. Noriaki and Jotaro walk up to the rooftop, students rarely visited the rooftop, which was a good thing for Jotaro. He didn't like noisy crowds. Jotaro pulls out a pack of cigarettes.

"You probably shouldn't do that. It's bad for you." Noriaki warned.

"I know, I need to quit, but it's addicting once you try."

"Put it back in your pocket or even better, throw it away." Noriaki pointed at a nearby trash can. "I don't wanna see my friend in a hospital over addiction." His face was absolutely serious.

Jotaro stares at the pack for a moment. Then he slowly puts it back in his pocket. He sighs.

Noriaki then pulls out a small container of cherries. Jotaro tilts his head in confusion. "Cherries?"

"Hmm, oh yeah. I bought cherries. Do you want one?"

"I'm good." Jotaro looked out into the sky, he sighs.

"Something wrong?"

He shakes his head. "No, it's ok. Just thinking."

"What about?" Noriaki's eyes filled with curiosity of a six-year-old as he inched closer to his friend. Jotaro's cheeks flushed only slightly.

"Society. How messed up it is."

"Oh. I guess you can say it's pretty messed up."

"It is. I don't understand why people hate other people for things they can't control. What's the point of doing that?"

Noriaki looked at Jotaro, " I don't see much of a point to do so. I don't judge people by things out of their control."

"At least you agree with me." Jotaro laughs a little, catching the redhead's attention. Noriaki smiles.

"You laughed."

"What of it?"

"I never heard you laugh before. It's cute."

"W-What?" Jotaro's eyes widened, his face now reddening.

Noriaki began to regret what he said. "Nothing, don't worry about it."

Jotaro definitely heard him. Very clearly. He grinned."I thought you said it was cu-"

"I didn't say anything. Forget you heard that." His voice was quiet. His cheeks were rosy. He was looking away from Jotaro. "We should probably go back to class, now."

Jotaro stood up. "Ok then."
