Jotaro walks out the door and Noriaki follows him out and tries to mentally summarize what happened. It all happened too quickly. Jotaro had shut down his parents and walked out just like that. He began to feel feelings again. 'Jotaro... Thank you and I love you.' He felt warm when Jotaro was healing his arm but also humiliation for snapping like that. Jotaro grabbed his hand.
"Everything is gonna be alright, Kakyoin."
He nodded his head. "Thank you for doing that."
"Yare yare daze, you're welcome."
Noriaki inched closer to him. "I-I kinda need to tell you something. It's important."
Jotaro noticed how close Noriaki was to him. "What's the matter?"
"I'm scared to say it. I'm kinda afraid of rejection."
"Rejection?" Jotaro had a puzzled expression but was still curious about what he had to say.
"Well, you see, I-I um, like you and think you're a-attractive." Noriaki's face was a mix of deep magenta. He felt adrenaline shoot through his entire body but deep down he felt a sigh of relief.
Jotaro tipped his hat down, his face also flushed. Yet, you can see him smile under his hat. "Kakyoin."
"I love you too."
"Wait, you do?" Noriaki blurted out without thinking.
Jotaro nodded. Grabbing his other hand. "Do you not believe me?"
"Oh, no. It's just a little hard to believe."
"Stop saying that, Kakyoin. You're a human being worthy of love. Stop putting yourself down. If I have to, I will tell you every day that I love you."
"Oh please do so."
"Want to go over to my house and play some video games. I don't have a lot but I have a baseball game if that sounds interesting."
Noriaki's eyes lit up. "Sure!"
