Episode 1
"Helllllooooooo~ everybody!" Ibuki yelled, jumping into her spinning chair and taking advantage of the 'spin' aspect. "Today, I'll be playing DANGANRONPA 2! Now, I've been told to play the first game, then the second game, then Ultra Despair Girls, then the third game. But, that's no fun at all! So, today we start the second, let's jump right in!
Loading... loading... loading...
?: hey? Can you hear me?
"Ibuki can hear EVERYTHING!"
?: are you okay? You seem pretty out of it. To be honest, I'm also... no, everybody else feels the same, too.
"Well if you guys where gonna talk about your feelings, you coulda invited me!"
?: since we suddenly... got put in this weird situation
?:...
?: hey, are you listening
'Hey, I don't understand. Why am I here? What happened?'
Ibuki thought for a moment. "What DID happen?" She wondered allowed. "I don't know anything!"
'I should try to remember that first. I began to think, untangling the twisted knots that had formed in my mind'
"I'm pretty dang sure that's not how thoughts work!"
Think-think-think-think-think-think
"OKAY OKAY IM THINKING! GEEZ!
As I gathered the fragments of my scattered memories I began to spice together what actually happened... that's right! I...I...!
Ibuki's screen turned black as she leaned closer to it, her headphones almost sliding into the camera. "Is this thing on?!"
Words popped up along the bottom of the monitor
'Starting PCS versions 1.01...........................'
"OH FRICK I THINK I BROKE IT"
'Danganronpa 2: goodbye despair'
Today... was t just a normal day. It was a day that felt truly significant.
A character popped up on screen.
"Hey, do I know you? Oh, is that supposed to be me?!"
And when that long-awaited day finally came, I felt proud in a way I can't really put into words
"I'm proud of you too, buddy!"
I felt like... I had just become a part of something greater than myself. Does that make sense?
"Nope!"
Actually... that was exactly what it was like... I was truly in a dream.
"Then wake up!"
A large school appeared on screen as Ibuki clicked the mouse.
"Hey, that's a pretty cool school! Wow, I wonder what it's called?!"
Hopes peak academy...
"That sounds familiar... oh well, ive got no idea!" Ibuki smiled into the camera, crossing her fingers behind her back.
That place was so much more then a school to me. Kids who love to play baseball will join the major leagues...
"I know somebody who loves to play baseball!"
Kids who love to play soccer will join a rep team. And ever since I was a kid, I felt the same way about Hope Peak Acadamy...
"Wow, that's super cool! I only thought about wanting to be a musician!
Hopes peak academy is. Government-funded school for the privileged elite of society. It recruits top students from every imaginable field to inspire hope, and in doing so shape the future.
"Wowie, Hope seems pretty powerful!"
Whenever Hopes Peak is mentioned, it's only a matter of time before someone says "If you come and manage to graduate, you'll be set for life."
"Being set for life sounds pretty cool, that's probably why me and my friends go to our elite school!"
*confused comment section screaming*
And just so you know, that's not a joke or exaggeration at all. Many of the current leaders of various industries are actually alumni's of this school... well, that's basically what hopes peak is all about. As they say, it's truly the academy of hope!
"Well duh! It's right there is the name!"
There's two criteria you must meet in order to attend. One, you must be a current high school student. And two, you must be the very best at what you do.
"The very best, huh? Well, I have this one friend who's suuupppeerrr good at making light bulbs, maybe he could be in this game!"
Unlike other schools, there aren't any entrance exams to this academy. The only wait to get in this school is it it scours you itself... that's how hopes peak operates. Now, because of the talents of those who are chosen... the students at hopes peak are called ultimates.
"I bet Chiaki would like this! Cause she likes every game! But Hajime probably wouldn't cause all the ultimatey stuff! Oh, maybe they should play together!
But even though I'm finally going to hopes peak academy, the school I desired more then anything else... the truth is, my circumstance is a little different to that if my peers. Well, I guess I can put that aside for now.
"No you can't! I wanna know!"

"This is infuriating!"
And, it's nothing special worth talking about... I think. Anyway, I guess I should introduce myself first.
"ANDDDDD THATS ENOUGH FOR TODAY FOLKS! SEE YOU NEXT EPISODE!" Ibuki took off he headphone and grabbed her guitar, playing a short rift before the video cut out.
