"she just said she's not interested" Victor said

I turned my head to stop Adam but it was too late. Adam was grabbing his jacket and leaving as Madison walked over to us. "Guys I'm sorry I just want to be friends with you all. I didn't mean to lead him on." Adam was out the door completely. I ripped my heels off "Baby hold these for me" I threw them into Victors hands and ran out the door. "Adam wait!" Adam was sulking on his way back to the apartment.

"Adam hold on" He was really upset i could tell. I grabbed on to the back of his jacket and pulled. He turned around to look at me. "What's wrong with me?" He said in the most dramatic tone. "Nothing is wrong with you, you're just sensitive. It has been a rough week for you and you just get attached easily and I just think you got caught up in the moment and thought she was pretty and mistakes were made and im sorry it happened and..." He looked at me like his head is just spinning. Which is when i realized i was rambling. "Sorry"

He laughed. "Don't be sorry I know how you get. " He was laughing but he was sad. I could see it. "Adams I'm sorry that things with Madison didn't work out but you just met her. Nothing is wrong with you." He sat on the sidewalk with his feet in the road. "Margot was the one. I swear it. She was my one. Now what if there won't be another one?"

"The one?" I said sitting next to him. "The one i was supposed to live happily ever after with." He pouted into his hands. "She understood me." He said with his bottom lip trembling. "I know Adam. However she is gone. I don't think she was your one I just think you are confused on what you want. I loved Margot she knows... everything about me..." I shuttered.

"She won't tell anyone. She told me when we broke up that she wouldn't tell anybody about what happened to you. She wants to respect your privacy as well." I sigh in relief. "That's good to hear. Just what happened to me is.. private.. not even Victor knows.." He reached his hand out to hold mine. "Don't worry James he won't find out." I was glad to hear that. "Adam I am sorry she left. I know she was your forever but maybe there's multiple forevers." He tilted his head in confusion.

"James?"

"Yeah?"

"You look really pretty in this light."

"Uh.. thanks Adam"

"James?"

"Yes?"

Adam leaned in to kiss me

I moved away quickly.

"Stop. What are you doing."

He looked at me terrified.

Wait he's not looking at me he's looking behind me.

"Victor, I am so sorry!"
