Chapter 5

"Get away from her."

Victor was burning with rage. "Victor I didn't mean to upset you" I began to cry. "You didn't only upset me." Victor reached down to help me up off the ground. "You also upset MY girlfriend. She's MINE" He was very worried. I had seen Victor be mad at men before but I had never been worried he would actually kill someone. Right now I could tell he wanted to kill Adam.

He pulled me tightly towards him. I turned to cry into his chest. I was hurt that Adam would do that. Just because his relationship was over didn't mean my relationship with Victor was. He is just lonely. He was crazy about Madison thirty minutes ago. Why now is he leaning towards me.

"Look what you have done to her." I turned to see Adam looking to make sure I was okay. When he saw me crying he was saddened. "James I'm sor..." He reached his arm out to grab my shoulder but Victor pushed him away. "Stay away from us Adam. I love Jamie. I love her. I would do anything for her. I've suspected you liked her for a while now but i didn't want to say anything because I know how close you are. If you were anybody else you would be dead, and if you ever try to come after Jamie again, you will be." Victor lifted my bare feet off the pavement and held me close to him. He walked to his car. His sister standing outside of it.

"Everything okay?" Madison said. Victor placed me down and pulled out 50 bucks from his wallet. "You're going to have to uber back to your place. I have to get Jamie home now." He handed her the money. Victor opened the door to his mercedes and helped me sit down. "Victor what happened? Is Adam okay?" I could see Victor fill with rage. "ADAM IS FINE" He shut my door and ran to the other side to get into the driver's seat. He pulled out the parking spot and began to drive. We pulled into his driveway.

As I stepped out at Victor's home. Victor is a wealthier man yes. It's still new to me. I met him on public transportation and didn't know he was wealthy until after dating for six months. He fumbled with his keys as he unlocked his house. Davis greeted us at the door. Davis is Victor's dog. He is like a grey.. fancy.. chill.. kinda scary dog. I am not really sure what kind of breed he is.

We walked to his guest room where he pulled out a pair of female silk pajamas from the closet. "I always keep these in here in case you need to spend the night." He then opened a drawer and pulled out a inhaler. "And this" I used my inhaler and sat on the guest bed. He handed me the pajamas. "I'll let you change." Him and Davis walked out of the room. I changed into the surprisingly comfortable pjs.

"Victor. I don't have my glasses. Or contact solution" He walked into the room. "Tomorrow we will go get your things from the apartment." I was confused. "Go get my things." He sighed. "I don't want you living with Adam anymore."

"I want you to move in with me."
