  John and Bobby.
  Two men.
  One a father
  the other a parent.
You might not think there's much of a difference but you would be wrong. A father can just leave you, their job is only bringing you into the world. A parent's job is to raise you through the troubles, teaching you how to cook and tie your shoes. A parent knows basically everything a father only knows your name.

"He's obviously going to become a threat,"

"That's your kid in there! I don't know who you think you are but you obviously have a second chance with him, so grow some balls and quit being a dick!"

Now there are very few times when Bobby singer will yell at someone and well this is one of them. Sam can only remember about three.

___
Sam had been dropped off at Bobby's house. Not anything odd about this he usually was dropped off with a,
"Be nice to the old fart Sammy"
"Don't cause trouble or I might just leave you to learn some manners"

This time things were different. John handed little
12-year-old Sammy a handgun. This handgun would have been the one Dean would carry. Well, he obviously won't be using it anytime soon, if ever.

Sam enters the house and heads to where Bobby pointed as heavy boots begin to walk with thundering steps to the Impala.

Sam was positive that the neighbors (who were around 2 miles away) would be able to hear.
Sam would continue to hold this interaction with his dad and father figure in mind every time he raised his arm to shoot. Even as the memory faded he felt a shocking dread in his chest. Wich, he would generally put off of as some form of adrenaline, or the feeling as if he was not worthy to hold the gun in his large hands.

____
the next time Sam could remember Bobby yelling it was because he was being stubborn.

Sam had been training to hunt for a little over a year and was a hot-headed 14-year-old who believed with all his heart he was ready. The chance for Sam arose when gnomes had mysteriously started to appear in Sioux falls.

Bobby was beginning to set a trap that would knock all of the gnomes be store-bought or not out forever when sam stepped foot out of the house.

Chaos had ensued where the gnomes had decided to attack seeing the young boy and an unguarded entrance to a hunter's house.

Sam had woken up later covered in what looked like razor cuts from the teeth of the tiny monster. Bobby was calm at first raising to a shout but you could hear the tears there the brokenness the fear that he would lose another person he cared about to the life he was trapped in.

Sam made sure to listen after that if he was told to wait here he did so and whenever there was a new threat he studied it to make sure he wouldn't cause any more trouble and make sure that the people in the town would be safe until he was finished.

____

The last time was right then in the moment where john wanted to kill his eldest? It was a confusing time but when wasn't it why wouldn't he actually speak ask questions learn and if he is a threat we would know more on how to finish him.
I hope it doesn't come to that. It would leave the lost boys without a clue and soon they would realize and what would happen. What would happen if the lost boys were to attack we know nothing other than stories which we know not of fact or fiction?
___
There have been many screams that hunters hear. From their loved ones dying and those, they have sworn to protect.

The ones that always hurt Sam the most were the ones that came from Dean the kid that doesn't wanna grow up and become just like those he ran away from because of how broken they made him.
