I was abandoned and left alone
trapped in this life that's been nothing but a hole
stuck here day in and day out
with the words shoot first ask questions later
I want to leave
I want an escape
and I can do it
I just have to wait
wait for the shadow
that wished me well
that sits by my side
and tucks me in tight
holds me close
when the nightmares come at night
because of the monsters I know are real the demons and gargoyles
gods and goddesses too
just so much
so my dad forgot about me
all I have to do is protect sammy
but I'm tired and done
my future has come because
I'm flying away
so goodbye little brother I'll see you another
I'll find a way to bring you
but now you are older
and I'm ready for some fun
come dear shadow help me fly away
at 6 o'clock just at the end of today
my wish is farewell but you will see me soon
so soon that I'll look the same as before just with a little more light in my eyes
A pep in my step
And some anger I bet
so I wish you good luck in this coming day
but honestly
I hope that I'll find you
someday
