Juvia POV
"This week on the Bachelor"
"Well, this episode is going to be a shitshow," I said to myself while drinking a cup of coffee.
'Knock knock'
"What the-", I got up and opened the door, not caring that I am wearing baggy pajama pants, a t-shirt, and no bra.
"Gray, what the hell," I said.
"Hi! Can I come in?" he said while walking in without me answering
"Ok then," I said closing the door rolling my eyes. I cross my arms and turn around to see Gray sitting on my couch.
"So what are we watching? Oh, the bachelor." He said reaching for a blanket that is on my couch.
"Gray", I say his name still standing by the door. "Mhm", He says not looking at me. "What are you doing here? Don't you have a house?" I ask. "I...just wanted to hang out," He said blankly. I knew something was bothering him. I remember every time he was upset or got into a fight with his dad, he would come over out of the blew. "Gray, I know there is something wrong. What did you do?" I asked and finally sat down next to him. "Alright, you caught me. I just got into a petty fight with my dad," He said, still not looking at me. He knew I was going to ask what the fight was about, so he kept going. "He got mad at me for not doing some sort of paperwork right. I tried to explain that I would redo it, but he just kept yelling at me. Telling me that he needed it done by tonight because it was for an important client. Then we both started yelling. I just thought it would be better to leave and cool off," He said. Honestly, I was touched that he came over to my apartment. it was like the old times.
"Do you want to stay the night? I mean if you don't want to go back to your house. I imagine you probably live with your dad," I said looking at the tv.
"Is that ok? I don't really want to go back and see my dad's stupid face," I give out a little laugh.
"Yes it ok, that's why I offered," He finally looked at me. We smiled and put the blanket over both of us.
"I heard the bachelor this year totally sucks," He said. "Ya, he is an idiot. But that is what makes the show interesting and trashy. You get to see his bad decisions in each episode," He nodded. "Ya, I guess. I remember you used to make me watch this show every time a new season came out," He said.
~2 Hours Later~
"Wow, can't believe Peter chose Victoria instead of Kelsy," Gray said reaching for his tea. "I know, his decisions are terrible," I say as I get up and put my mug in the sink. "Well, I have to go to work tomorrow so I have to go to bed, you can sleep in my room while I sleep on the couch," I said walking towards the hall closet to get some blankets and pillows. "Are you sure? I can just take the couch, I don't really care. You have stand most of the day," He said sweetly. "No no, it's ok. My mattress isn't really comfortable on my back, and the couch is more comforting for my back," I said putting the blankets on the couch. "Ok, then I will be off to bed. Good night," He walked down the hall into my room and closed the door. I put the blankets over me on the couch. 'This is so weird,' I thought. 'Gray and I haven't slept in the same house in 8 years,' It's not weird, right? We are going to married in a couple of months anyway. Is he thinking this is weird?
Gray POV
Juvia's room is kind of what I was expecting. Her bed is made perfectly with black covers and black pillows. One decorative pillow is black and white with a crescent moon on it, and the other is a velvet pastel pink pillow. There is a side table on each table side of the bed. They are the same style. Vintage looking. At the front of the room is a dresser with her jewelry and pictures on it. Beside her dresser is a table, on that table, are papers. The papers in neat stacks, they look to be papers that she has to grade. On one of the bedside tables are two books and a picture frame. I sit down on the bed and look at the picture frame. In the picture is a group of people, Juvia, a girl with blonde hair, a boy with pink hair, and a tall guy. The tall guys' face is crossed out. I can almost make out his face. He has navy-blue hair, a square face, and a tattoo over his eyebrow. "I wonder why his face is crossed out," I said quietly to myself. Maybe it was an ex-boyfriend? Whoever he is it's none of my business. They all look happy, especially Juvia. She looks the same as she did in high school. She still had that goth/rocker fase. Looks like all of her friends had the same look too. I put the picture back on the side table. Juvia has more posters pinned up. Mostly over her bed. She has old movie posters and band posters. I take my socks, shirt, and pants off. I then turn off the light and slide into the bed. I would be lying if I didn't think that this is weird. Sleeping in Juvia's apartment let alone her bed is very bizarre. We haven't slept in the same place in 8 years. Does she think this is weird? I hope not.
