"No radio today," Trisha informed. They were seated in the car about to leave for school.

    "Why?" Zayn asked, confused.

"Tell me about your nightmare," Trisha said in a serious tone. Zayn sighed, sitting back in his seat.

"I don't know Mum," he started, "It was really weird."

"Well, I want to know what had my baby sobbing on my shoulder at four in the morning," she said with a bitter tone.

Zayn began to bite his nails. He didn't know how to tell her about it.

"I- someone was chasing me, then I got stabbed, then someone was calling for help, and he kissed me, then I was running from everyone in town ,and I jumped over the wall, and then the boy kissed me again, but we were torn apart, and then I was thrown into a bottomless pit," Zayn rushed out, without taking a breath.

Trisha struggled to catch everthing he said. She knew he wasn't going to say it again, though.

"Ok, I told you," Zayn said bitterly, "Are you happy?"

"Zayn, don't be like that. I'm just worried about you," she responded. "Now what is this about a boy kissing you?" She asked.

"I don't know," he shrugged, "It was weird."

    "Hm? How so?" she asked.

"I never even saw his face," Zayn frowned,"He seemed to know me, but I have no idea who he was."

"You said he was calling for help?" Trisha asked.

"Yeah, he seemed like he was in pain," he explained, "He kept calling out 'help' and 'please', but I couldn't see him."

"Hm I see," Trisha nodded, "and when did he kiss you," she asked.

"He screamed out in pain and stopped answering me. I fell to my knees and started crying, and then he was right in front of me," he explained.

"He said my name and then he kissed me," Zayn said with a sad smile.

"And did you enjoy the kiss," Trisha asked jokingly to lighten the mood. Zayn didn't notice and shrugged.

"Dream me did, I guess," he said, "The second time felt like I had done a thousand times."

"What do you mean?" Trisha asked.

"I don't know, It just felt like we've been together and kissed multiple times," he said with a small blush. "Like I said, he seemed to know me."

Trisha looked like she was in deep thought. She was wondering why in the world her son would have such a strange dream.

"You said all the people in town were chasing you," Trisha said.

"Yeah, they were yelling at me like I was a monster," he frowned.

"And then you jumped over the border?" she went on.

"There was a voice in my head telling me to," he explained, "the feeling of climbing it felt familer."

Trisha's brows furrowed in confusion. What of dream was this?

"Ok, that's enough talk about the dream," Zayn said. Thinking of the boy and being torn away from him made him upset.

Trisha nodded, uderstanding the way the dream was affecting him. She looked over to him and gave him a motherly smile. He sent a small smile back at her.
