"Liam, why are you here?"

Zayn and Liam were still in the alleyway talking. Zayn was usually shy, he didn't know why he was so confident around Liam. They had long finished their cupcakes and now cuddled up. Zayn had his head on Liam's shoulder, with their legs tangled together.

   Liam sighed at the question.

"It's just-" he looked down nervously, "my parents-"

   "What about them?" Zayn questioned.

"They want me to be a Payne, ya know. Dark, cold, heartless... but I just-" he started fiddling with his thumbs. "I just can't be what they want me to be."

"And you don't have to be," Zayn whispered, resting his hand over Liam's to comfort him.

Liam nodded, his eyes focused on Zayn's hand.

"I just wish I could be myself, ya know? Sing with my band and not worry about living up to my family's lineage," Liam explained with a sigh.

"Band?" Zayn asked, readjusting his head on Liam's broad shoulder.

Liam chuckled and looked up fondly.

"My friends and I decided to make a band together. It's called One Direction," he said.

"What are your friends like?" Zayn asked, curiously.

Liam smiled down at Zayn. The boy truly was gorgeous. He brought his hand up to his head, curling his gorgeous, raven locks around his finger.

"Well, there's four of them. Three in the band, but the other is always around," Liam started. "Their names are Louis, Harry, Niall, and Shawn."

Zayn nodded along as Liam spoke. He was still playing with his hair which was distracting him a lot. He usually hated it when people touched his hair, but Liam can be an exception, he guessed.

"So, you're a good singer?" Zayn questioned with a small smile. How much more perfect can the guy get?

"Well, I hope so," Liam chuckled. He had a cute laugh, he goes from a dominant looking, attractive man, to a puppy in seconds.

"What about you?" Liam asked, catching Zayn by suprise.

"Um, what about me?" Zayn said awkwardly. His cheeks went slightly pink in embarrassment.

"We've been talking about me this whole time," he started, "I want to,erm, I want know more about you."

"There isn't much to know," Zayn frowned. Liam's life was obviously more interesting then his.

"If I thought there wasn't anything to know, I wouldn't have asked." His face went serious. He looked into Zayn's eyes and brushed over his neck with the tips of his fingers.

Zayn shivered at Liam's intense stare. He bit his lip and pulled off of his shoulder.

"What do you want to know," he asked, looking away from the intimidating man. Liam still had his arm wrapped around Zayn's waist, not loosening his grip.

   "Anything," Liam whispered.

"I- I,um, like drawing," he stuttered out. Zayn blushed at how awkward he was being. Liam probably thought he was weird now.

Liam smiled warmly at him. He looked genuinely happy that Zayn had opened up to him a little bit.

   "Can I see?" He asked.

   "Um," Zayn hesitated.

   "Please," he pleaded.

Zayn sighed and pulled his bag towards him. He slowly removed his sketchbook from it and handed it to the patiently waiting boy.

Liam smiled as Zayn handed him the book. It was a small, hard covered, book. He looked at it fondly before opening it. He was really soft with it, as if it could break any second.

Zayn watched him nervously, his bottom lip between his teeth. Liam's gazed over first drawing.

"Wow," Liam breathed out with a chuckle. "This is amazing Zayn," he smiled at the nervous boy beside him.

   "Really?" Zayn asked, shocked.

"Yes, really," Liam laughed, "knew you were special."

Zayn blushed and leaned back against Liam's shoulder. Liam smiled fondly at him and ran his fingers through his hair once again. Zayn hummed and closed his eyes.

Liam sat and enjoyed the veiw of Zayn's beautiful features. He was having a hard time beleiving his lovely, long eyelashes were even real. He admired the boy's perfect bone structure.

He was much prettier then any girl he's ever seen. Damn.

Liam chuckled at himself. He's straight, not gay. He rested his head on Zayn's. It's ok for boys to cuddle, he cuddles with Harry and Shawn all the time, Zayn is no different.

Liam's eyes went wide in fear. He quickly pulled out his phone amd checked the time.

"Fuck!" he exclaimed. He looked down at the alarmed boy and rubbed his side to assure it was ok.

"What's wrong, Li?" he asked worridely.

"I need to go..." Liam said, biting his lip. "Before my parents-"

"Liam, it's fine. I understand," he assured him. He looked down, pulling his lip between his teeth.

Liam brought a hand to his chin, making Zayn look up at him. He pulled him into a tight embrace. He inhaled Zayn's sweet scent of vanilla, knowing that he was going to miss it deeply.

"Will I never see you again?" Zayn asked sorrowfully. Liam stared into his eyes, probably thinking of an answer. He brought his hands up to cup Zayn's cheeks, caressing his jawline softly.

"I hope so," Liam said softly. He didn't know how he managed to get over the wall this time, much less if he could do it again.

"I'll miss you," Zayn whispered. He may have just met Liam but he feels so attached to him already.

"I'll miss you too, Zee," Liam said, sadly. "But, hey, we can text," Liam smiled, trying to lighten the mood. He didn't want to leave the boy sad.

Zayn smiled at this too. At least he'd be able to talk to him. Otherwise, he'd be miserable. Zayn hugged him again. This time, he wrapped his legs around Liam's waist. Liam held him tight, not wanting to say goodbye.

"Bye, Liam," Zayn as he pulled away from the hug. Liam smiled sadly at him.

   "Goodbye, Zayn."

And with that, he left, waving to Zayn as he jogged towards the wall. Zayn watched sadly as his new friend left. Given their situation, he probably won't see the boy again. He sighed and turned around.

'Liam' Zayn thought to himself. He was going to be one adventure.
