One Last Time // ATEEZ

"Shit."

"Did my sweet daughter miss me?"

It was him. The man who made her blood boil every time she thought of him.

Fear?

That would be an understatement of how the girl was feeling deep inside. But she knew that she couldn't show any weaknesses or vulnerability to the man in front of her. If she did, she's the only one who really knows what the consequences are from past experience.

San gazed his eyes back and forth between the man and Jinjoo. He was amazed at how much they resembled each other, yet so different personality wise from what he had heard before.

"Let's see who you're with today." says the man while walking slowly towards them.

"Ah, a member of the gang group Ateez... so you're betraying me for them now? Is that it?"

"I never betrayed anyone." she says annoyed while tightly holding onto the safe.

He scoffs. "It's funny to see you back home... when was the last time you were here? When you ran off and betrayed me? Oh! Or was it when you watched your boyfriend's blood pour out of his-"

"STOP." she puts down the safe and stands up facing her father. "I never wanna hear you talk about him out of your fucking mouth again."

He chuckles. "Wow, you've grown up a lot since the last time I saw you." He pauses. "But you and your little friend won't be able to get the map." As soon as he was finished, a group of his men swarmed the room. "Now listen. I'm gonna give you two choices. Either you come with me, or I'll have my guys make sure you can never set foot in my building again... so what's it gonna be?"

Jinjoo laughs. "It's funny how you can even think for a second that I would come back to you."

"Fine by me." He inches closer to her ears and whispers. "Trust me kitten. Someday you'll regret all of the decisions you've made and in the end you'll end up crawling back to your daddy." He walks out of the room leaving the girl furious.

Then all of a sudden, his men attacks the two.

Of course San was already prepared as he began to take charge too. As she knew something like this was going to happen, Jinjoo takes out two knives and throws one to San. "Here take this!"

Not long into the fight, Yunho, Hongjoong and Seonghwa join in.

"The fuck took you guys so long?" yells San as he slit one of the men's throat.

"We could've been here earlier but we were caught by some of the guys here. But we worked past them." Seonghwa replies back.

They continue to fight when Jinjoo sees one of the bigger guys come in with a knife in his hands. But something was covering the blade. A cold shiver streamed down her spine. One of her dad's tricks in killing people multiple people within a short period of time, was with the use of poison.

One cut and the poison acts fast on the body, as the person doesn't have much time to survive than a normal knife without anything on it.

She immediately attacks the guy with the poison. She knocks the knife out of his hands and shoots him in the head.

But it wasn't over. Never did Jinjoo think that there would be another person with the poisoned knife at hand. A man who was attacked earlier during the fight, slowly gets up with his knife and walks behind the girl as quiet as possible.

She takes a few seconds to catch her breath while the guy stood up from his place. As she was losing more blood from her arm, it was getting more difficult to fight and pay close attention to her surroundings.

And with one strike, the man's knife cuts deep into the surface of skin.

"SAN!"
