Riley:

"Hey mom, dad."

"Hey sweetie."

I rolled my eyes at my mom's choice of words.

Today was Saturday, my favorite day of the week.

Right now it was 7:05 am, I had Band and Girls' Brigade class so I have to wake up early. The band starts at 8:45 and I lived an hour away.

I play the euphonium, two of my besties, Kayna, and Zoey plays the trumpet.

"We gotta get going, dad!" I hollered.

"OKAY, let me get your bros."

My brothers were Isaac and Daniel, oldest, Isaac, younger, Daniel, youngest, me.

By the time we reached, I caught a glimpse of two tall for their age girls, one sporting light hazelnut brown hair, while the other a rich chestnut brown with lighter hair at the ends.

"Zoey! Kayna!"

They were the infamous twins, always undefeatable.

They did have fault unfortunately, they always bickered. Usually, I and Em would pull them apart.

But if we didn't, Zoey would always win the argument, and for that Kayna didn't really like her. And Zoey was 12 minutes older than Kayna, also 4 inches taller. So, you see the reason Kayna always pouts.

However, they were so different, like the sun and the moon.

I personally have known Kayna for about 8 years, Zoey for about 4 years.

Kayna was really bold, and I guess that's why she joined GB (girls' brigade) first.

Zoey was calmer and relaxed, also more patient.

They never were besties with each other, instead, best sisters. They worked together well and understood each other. They were like a best friend sister kinda thing.

Usually, we were in a group of 6, the greatest Juniors. Me, Zoey, Kayna, Amanda, Mayne, and Emily.

However, we also split in groups of two, me and Kayna, Zoey and Emily, Mayne and Amanda.

It worked well because Zoey and Emily have known each other for 9 years, me and Kayna 8 years, Amanda and Mayne... I don't know.

I sometimes feel jealous of Zoey and Emily's relationship. They knew each other inside out and always were there for each other, as sisters.

In me and K's relationship, Kayna was a whole lot more dominant, and I would always tag along.

I used to have a friend (Hanna) that would always talk to me but we've grown apart since she was 2 years older than me... She now sticks to Rye-Anne.
