Zoey:
"Hey, Kayna!!" Shouted Jade.
"Hi, Jade." Kayna's reply was cool, but I knew she liked being called out.
I nudged her in the ribs.
"A big softie huh?" I grinned
She blushed and ran into the hall.
I always have and probably always will envy K's popularity.
She is always cool and relaxed, but don't judge a book by its cover.
She's rash and impatient, but a nice sister.
I was around 6 and all the girls in my kindie hated me. They always were friends with Kay, but when Kay realized, she immediately protected me, and also cared for me. She always might be "cool" but deep down she cares.
Honestly, I am scared. She, for some reason, disappeared for 2 hours yesterday, and she wore knee-length socks since she came back.
I mean, it was weird. She hates those types of socks.
Suddenly, I had a thought.
I ran into the hall to see her glancing at the announcements.
I grabbed her and pinned her to the wall.
"You got a tattoo at your ankles didn't you?" I gasped.
Kayna had pestered my mom for two weeks straight on getting one.
Ever since she saw our friends Rye-Anne and Leigh-Anne get one.
I took a good look at her, she was crying.
"What's wrong Kay kay?"
She gave me a small smile, she loved it when I called her that.
"I didn't make it into the best uniform girl category.
See, something about Kay was that she was extremely competitive. If there was a competition, she would strain like CRAZY to win it.
"Can you not tell mom?" She pleaded.
"About which?" I smiled evilly
"Tattoo..."
"Sure" I grinned
"Thanks, Zo"
Suddenly I glimpsed my dad waving crazily from his Nissan van.
"Zoey, grandma sent you a parcel which she said you have to open now!"
I was shocked, grandma had sent Kayna lime green Adidas sneakers a month ago, I had wondered why only she got it for Kay. I mean, I probably wouldn't want lime green sneakers, but still!
I ran to the car door and my dad passed me a huge box. I opened it and gasped, there were two pairs of shoes inside. I knew it had to be mine because it was size 8. None of my family had size 8 feet.
"That. Is. So. COOL!" I shouted!
"Yeah yeah yeah," Kayna mumbled.
A hand reached up and slapped me on the back.
"Hello, Natalia." I tightly said politely.
Ever since me and Kay, Riley and Em became bestie's, Natalia and her group of minions became our arch enemies.
Their group consisted of Natalia, Selina, Meliah, and June.
They all sported one look, long blonde hair.
"Hello, dummy." She grinned, challenging me.
"Hello, barbie doll," Zoey said, she was beyond angry with Natalia.
"Oh? Someone's getting angry..."
Riley stepped in, pulling Kayna away. If she didn't, the insults would last all day.
