Chapter 5

Another day another clinical. 

As the days went on Jisoo was studying for her nursing licence. Each day she would go through her flashcards with her medical terminology, go through the text book again and remind her self of all the procedures a patient may need. It was hell. Some days Jisoo would skip meals to make it to class on time. She knew it wasn't healthy but nobody seemed to care so why would she care, right? 

Tiredly she made it to class with 5 minutes left to spare before class starts. The night before she only caught 3 hours of sleep which made her very drowsy. But Jisoo was determined to get through the day like she always has been. All she would need is a coffee. Jisoo reaches for the side of her bag and grabs her thermos.

Shit

Of course, with being in such a rush she forgot to fill up her thermos with coffee. Now Jisoo had no coffee. It didn't matter she can just force herself to stay awake. She heads into class and prepares herself. In the corner of her eye she sees Jennie heading into the class room. 

Maybe her friend is here. Just focus Jisoo focus.

"Hey Jisoo Unnie." Jennie says as she waved to her. Jisoo waves back as Jennie walks towards her direction.

"Hey Jennie, what brings you here?" Jisoo said as she tries to hide her yawn.

"Well I saw that you look more tired than usual so I stopped by a cafe and picked you up some coffee." She said as she placed a coffee on her desk. 

"Oh Jennie thank you. I actually really need my coffee today so this means a lot." Jisoo said as she gave Jennie a smile.

"No problem, It looks like I have to go I will see you later right?" 

"Yeah see you later" 

Jennie leaves the classroom and heads to her class of the day. She felt good after giving Jisoo that coffee. Even if it was just small gesture she felt happy.

Later that day they meet up at the rooftop for their tutoring session. Jennie takes out a printed grade report and hands it to Jisoo. 

"Wah! A 92% Jennie this is amazing I'm so proud of you." Jisoo said as she gives Jennie a small hug. 

"Its all thanks to you. You really helped me that past few weeks." Jennie said showing her gummy smile. 

"It is my role as a tutor to help you pass." Jisoo said as she joked around.

"I want to thank you. Is there any day your off. Maybe we can hang out or have dinner on me?" Jennie asked shyly.

"Woah dinner on you? Are you sure?" Jisoo said making sure she heard right.

"Yeah we can eat anywhere you want I will pay." Jennie reassured.

"If I can I will text you if that's alright?" Jisoo asked for assurance.

"Yeah that's fine with me. Anyhow lets get started on this shall we?" Jennie said as she takes out her text book."

"Yes we shall" Jisoo laughed as she grabbed her notebook.
