Back in 2013, she was in a girl group called 3un7ree, which is why it goes back that far if you were wondering. – Xuxi debuted with straight, long hair that reached below her chest and bangs. She said that her company wanted to give her the "traditional chinese girl" look so that she wouldn't be the eyecatching one of the group. Their plan had ended up working and Xuxi was shown up by her fellow members while she was their shadow.

– But, when Xuxi got her bangs cut for 3un7ree's comeback, she gained a bit of attention because her new hairstyle didn't hide her face like it used to. She became #4 out of 10 as the most popular member after the girls Xuanwu, Ling, and Becka. Her company then changed their approach on her and began to promote her better.
