-Roman pants and holds his heart. He throws his clothes on the chair next to his desk and sinks into the window seat. He winces and rubs his hips, watching the clouds drift by. A half an hour later he hears a knock at the door (note, they don't sink in or out in this AU. They have there own rooms that aren't like the living room. The darks have their own house.)-

Roman: u-uh who is it-..

Virgil his voice small, quiet, but clear: uh me? Virgil. Why do you sound so worried? *he opens the door* Are you running from the law?

-Virgil chuckles to himself but sees Romans scared and upset expression and stops-

Virgil: U-Uh- Uhm- Are you ok?

-Roman bites his lip and looks back out the window. Virgil's mind started to panic, of course, but he kept a cool and calm manner. Virgil sits timidly on Romans bed and listens to Romans breathing. He hears his own heartbeat which surprises him. Roman is scaring him-

Virgil: Roman whats wrong.

Roman: I'm fine, Storm cloud. Just a little shaken, thats all.

Virgil: About what? What happened?

Roman:.....It doesn't matter. And don't think "talking about it" will make me feel better because that seems worse...

Virgil: Alright. I didn't plan on pushing you. I was just asking. Relax.

-Roman still didn't look away from the window. Virgil. It had to be Virgil to find him at a time like this. Roman face was red, he had only a undershirt on, his hair was a mess, and he was sore. He didn't know why Virgil being there was the thing to tip him over the edge though. Roman rested his head on the side of the window. He peeks out at Virgil to see him on the bed hugging his shins to his chest. He was hiding his chin and mouth behind his knees and was looking at his socks. He seemed content on just listening to Romans breathing and didn't seem bothered that Roman wasn't talking about it. Roman closed his eyes and thought.-

-After a while Virgil put his chin on his knees and looked away-

Virgil, mumbling: Where were you...I couldn't find you...I thought you left us...

-Romans eyes shot open. What? Why does he care anyways!? Roman looked over at Virgil. He was still crouched in a ball on the big bed, looking down. That seemed to bother him. Why is he sitting like that. So defensive and small. Like he isn't aloud to sit or something. He seems to be in panic mode though. Roman could see that. He has noticed the little things Virgil does when he is panicking but doesn't want anyone to know. Roman sighs-

Roman: Virgil, I'm fine. I was only at the darks and I lost track of time.

Virgil: The OTHERS. Why where you with them?

-Virgil uncurls from his balled up position. He sits on his legs, still on the bed. Roman bites his lip and looks back out the window-
