Deceit disaster

Patton snap

-The weather was getting warm. Roman and Virgil were outside all day. Talking, hugging, kissing, exploring, etc. They mostly went outside to be alone and away from the others. Inside Remy, Emile, and Patton were baking. Well, Emile and Patton were. Remy was being a bother and trying the batter when they weren't looking. Emile and Remy were flirting and giggling for the most part.-

Patton: Emi can you put those in the oven for now, we will start the frosting later after we get the cookies done.

Emile, swatting Remy's hand away: Alrighty

Remy: Why are we baking?

Patton: Because. I love it and I like treating my kiddos!

Emile: Yeah. And what do you mean "we" mister. *pushes him away from the cookie dough by his nose* you aren't really helping.

Remy: Well I would if I could babes but I am shit at cooking.

Patton: Don't use that word. But it isn't THAT hard. Emile could help you.

-Emile went around and took Remy's jacket off, setting it aside. He hands Remy a whisk.-

Emile: YOU can mix. It isn't hard.

-They laughed and talked while baking. Remy did small work but, based on Emile's smile, he was helpful.-

Patton: Hey Rems?

Remy: hm?

Patton: Do you know whats been going on around here?

-Remy froze. He didn't make eye contact-

Remy: What do you mean?

Patton: Romans not himself and YOU have been upset at him. What happened?

-Remy bit his lip. He looked at both the confused faces.-

Remy: Well I didn't do anything. He did it all by himself. Deceit didn't do much either-

Patton, setting his tray down and now facing him: What does that mean? What HAPPENED Remy?

Remy: Hey hey as much as I love drama I am NOT apart of this.

Patton: Well you know WHAT happened so I guess you ARE. What. Happened.

-Remy hesitated. He bit his lip wide eyed, searching for a excuse or lie. He stayed like this for a while. He was nervous and Patton's stubborn stare wasn't helping. He looked at the worried expression on Emi's face and broke-

Remy: ROMAN CHEATED ON VIRGIL WITH DECEIT. Phew god- that was like- a interrogation. Ew- ok

-Patton face was in awe. More horror and shock then anything. Eventually, Patton looked angry.-

Patton: And what happened after?

Remy: What?

Patton: Does Virgil know? did he admit it?

Remy: Uhm- no..

Patton: Well then- Ill talk to him. Thanks for telling me kiddo.

-Patton walked out the back door to the woods-

Remy: Shit-

-Patton found them on a rock chatting about some dumb idea Roman had-

Patton: Roman, kiddo. We need to talk.

Roman: Yes?

Patton: Virgil shouldn't be here when I say it. It would only be bad for you anyways.

-Patton eyed the couple. Roman got off the rock and followed Patton back to the house.-

Roman: Whats wrong?

Patton: Why did you cheat on Virgil? Was it spite? Or for jealousy reasons? Or-?

-Roman froze. He had been caught-

Roman: I-it was- an- an accident- I- wasn't in the r-right state of mine- or well I was drunk-

Patton: So Remy wasn't lying?

Roman: REMY TOLD?

Patton: I made him. You better not go after him. You hear? This is- this is BAD kiddo...

Roman: I KNOW. And even if Virgil DOESN'T know and even if he ISN'T hurt- I still feel guilty...

Patton: Well....good. Its the right feeling....it makes you human. so....

-They talked and explained everything. Roman thought this nightmare was done. He was wrong-
