Ch. 23 "Recovery"

Third Person POV

It had been three weeks, and Taylor still wasn't awake, to say that the team was worried was an understatement,

Bruce kept an eye on her vitals, and checked her wounds, the claws across her chest, were red and looked sore,

The wound on her side, was the same way, she lost a lot of blood during that fight,

Pietro and Bucky never left her side hoping that she would wake up soon,

Wanda would stop by making sure they were taking care of themselves,

Taylor POV

Beep, Beep, Beep,

that was the continuous sound that kept repeating, my eyes felt like they were glued shut, not to mention the pain I was in,

I slowly open my eyes, the light blinding me making my head hurt, I closed them again, after a few minutes I open them again,

I look to see I have an IV in my arm, monitor on my neck since my chest is hurt too bad, I open my shirt a little seeing it is gauzed and wrapped,

I look up at the monitor tracking my heart rate,

I look around the room,

I see a giant vase filled with flowers, the card said get better soon kid- Tony,

Of course he would git that big of a vase filled with every kind of rose, I thought

I see Bucky in the corner of the room sleeping with his arms crossed his expression looked worried even though he was asleep

Next to my bed I see Pietro his arm was on the bed,holding my hand and his head was buried in his arm,

I smiled sadly at the sight,

I ran my fingers through his hair,

"Mmm, five more minutes," He mumbled

I chuckled,

Then I hear someone walk in, I see Wanda

"Taylor!" She said excitedly

Bucky and Pietro jumped awake,

"Taylor!" They both yelled,

I smirked, but then they looked at me funny,

"What is it?" I said with a raspy voice,

"You're eyes," Bucky said

I grabbed the nearby mirror,

One of my eyes were golden like a wolfs the other was blue,

I just sighed, I didn't know what to say,

"What did they do to you?" Bucky asked

"I got the final injection, but that also meant I had to fight other experiments that were more beast than human," I said sadly

"Taylor..." Wanda said

"It's alright I'm fine," I said

I grabbed the IV in my arm and pulled it out,

They all rushed to me, I went to stand,

"What are you doing!" Bucky said

"What's it look like I'm leaving," I said

"Oh no princess you need to stay in bed," Pietro said

Both Pietro and Bucky pushed back down on the bed while Wanda left who knows where,

Then Wanda returns with Tony and Bruce,

"Great.." I mumbled

This is gonna be a long day I thought
