Ch. 19 "Reasons"

                                                           Taylor POV

I look at the clock confused, it was 3AM when did I get here? I thought, 

I may be confused but I know one thing for certain Fury had to pay for what he did, I changed and quietly walked out of my room, 

I looked both ways not seeing anyone, and made my way to Fury's office, 

I find it locked so I use one of my claws to unlock the door, 

when I walk in the room I find a file on his desk, 

my file from HYDRA,

a picture of me when I first got there, I close my eyes reliving every painful memory of being there, 

I read the last entry 

'Didn't receive last injection, may be unstable,' 

Injection? Unstable? I thought as I held the file in my hands, 

"What are you doing in here?" I heard Fury say 

I looked at him with almost watered eyes, 

"What does this mean?" I asked 

showing him the file

"It's nothing that doesn't belong to you," He said about to grab the file 

but I backed away from him so he couldn't take it, 

"How did you get this? why didn't you tell me?" I said in shock

"Because I was still trying to figure out if you are with us or against us," He said 

"And now?" I asked 

"weather I like it or not you are here and everyone seems to care about you so I'm stuck with you," He said sitting down 

"So are you gonna tell me?" I asked sitting down across the desk from him 

he nodded sighing 

"The injection they are talking about.... they gave to over 100 test subjects but none of them ever survived," Fury said 

He paused sitting down at his desk, 

"That's until you came along, the injection spliced you're DNA which makes you turn into any animal you want," Fury said 

"So they injected me with something no one else could survive?" I asked 

He nodded 

"Not only did you survive one injection but two they were gonna give you the final one just before you escaped," Fury said 

"Why would I need a third?" I asked 

"you know how you break bones, the sky rocketing fever," He asked 

I nodded 

"It was supposed to stop that and if you keep breaking bones just to transform you won't make it past 18," Fury said 

my eyes got wide, 

"I'm sorry but it's the way it is," He said 

I crossed my arms and closed my eyes, then I got an idea, 

"Where is the injection at?" I asked 

"The same place they experimented on you," He said 

"But a word of caution it's heavily guarded," Fury said 

"Thank you," I said standing up, 

                                    Time Skip, 

I'm leaning against the railing on the roof of the tower looking at the city lights, 

I need to get that injection, if it saves my life but going there means I have to face my past,
