There is a story that haunts a house in Boston. A while back, in 1951, an 8 year old girl named Charlotte Wilconsin who was struggling with Fibrous dysplasia was living with her father Marshall Wilconsin. She missed her mother dearly, who had passed when she was only a toddler. She was in constant pain every day with her disease, Fibrous dysplasia, which weakened every single one of her bones more and more. None of the doctors ever had a clue of how and why she got it and neither did they have a cure for it. She would see her doctor, Mrs. Anton, often for pain medicine and check ups. Her doctor was smart and constantly found out more and more about her practice. She wanted Charlotte to get a vertebroplasty to strengthen her bones, but that would be the last possible thing she could do. It was used for other diseases conditions like osteoporosis. Her doctor always told Charlotte that this was the worst case of fibrous dysplasia she has ever seen. Charlotte always agreed to anything Mrs. Anton suggested. Her father and Mrs. Anton had a thorough conversation about the surgery and they both agreed it would be best to have it the following week. The next day after the conversation to plan the surgery, Charlotte started to feel ill. She became light headed and faint. That evening, when her father came upstairs to get her to come down for dinner, he found her passed out on the floor. He rushed her to the hospital. When the doctors took her back to examine, they would not stop asking Charlotte's father all these questions as if he had something to do with it. He had enough of it, so he left and went into the waiting room to call Mrs. Anton and tell her what was going on. In about 10 minutes, Mrs. Anton arrived to the hospital ready to speak to the doctors about Charlotte. She only spoke a couple words before they escorted her out to the waiting room to sit with Charlotte's father. The doctors at this hospital had something else in mind. They came to conclusion that she was being abused at home. They did not want Charlotte's father around her anymore after that night. A few minutes after the doctors finished examining, one of them went to the waiting room to talk to Mrs. Anton. "Have you ever seen Mr. Wilconsin touch his daughter?" She was shocked that they would even think something like that, so she responded in an unpleasant tone that she never have seen it happen or thought of it happening. Then she went on to say that Charlotte has fibrous dysplasia and told them how rude it was to escort her out when she was trying to tell them. They stood there for a few seconds and then walked back to the room. They waited for Charlotte to wake up and then surrounded her with the same questions. She refused to answer their questions and asked to see her dad. They forced themselves to walk him from the waiting room to her room. They had a gut feeling something awful was going on. One of the doctors sat him down in a chair and stood in the corner of the room. "Daddy, I don't like this hospital", Charlotte whines. Her dad silently nods his head and holds her hand to tell her it won't be long until she is discharged. Mrs. Anton goes up to one of the doctors she recognized who had escorted her out and explains to him that she was planning on giving Charlotte a vertebroplasty. He then apologizes and tells her that they can do it over night. She agrees to it and goes to tell Marshall. "I was hoping that you would perform the surgery on Charlotte, I don't know how she would feel-" he looks over at Charlotte, "I want her to have the surgery, no matter who or how it happens, I want her to feel better." "OK," Mrs. Anton replies. Marshall and Mrs. Anton sit by Charlotte's side to explain to her that she is staying overnight for the surgery. "I'm nervous," she says to her dad. "I know baby girl, I know," he says as he rubs her head and kisses her on the cheek. "You're going to be alright." The doctors come in to check her blood pressure and body temperature to log in the system before they do the surgery. They then hand her a sedative to take to fall asleep. Mrs. Anton hugs Charlotte and then heads out to leave the hospital. Charlotte's father stays in the room with her until the doctors come back in. He hugs Charlotte's dead asleep body and leaves to go sleep in the car.
Morning came by, and Marshall went inside the hospital to sign in and head to Charlotte's room. As he started walking his way over, the lights in the hallway flickered a little. Hmm, that's weird, must be something wrong with the electricity. When he stepped foot into the room, Charlotte was handcuffed to the bed sitting up but still sleeping. He rushed out to go ask why she was handcuffed, "She wouldn't stop moving after the surgery, she kept throwing her arms everywhere and kicking. It was weird, we have never seen anyone react like that before." He goes back in to her room and tries to wake her up. "Hey, hon, you alright? It's 9am." She tilts her head to look at him. "You alright," Marshall asks again, he has never seen his daughter look like that before. She then looks down and starts crying after she realizes she is handcuffed to the bed. "oh no honey, the doctors handcuffed you because you were moving a lot after the surgery, you need to stay still after certain types of surgery, hon." "I want them off," she shrieks. Marshall runs out and asks the doctor to take them off of her. The surgeon comes in and slowly takes them off, "there you are." "Let me know if there is anything else you need. We are printing her discharge papers right now," he says as he leaves the room. Marshall sits down next to his daughter and asks how she is feeling. "I'm alright, I don't feel any pain," she says. "Oh hon, that's great," Marshall responds, "we'll be able to go home soon." One of the doctors from yesterday, come in the room and hand Marshall the discharge papers, "You all are free to leave whenever," he says as he leaves the room. He stands up and helps charlotte out of bed and they head out to the car. They get in the car and Marshall turns on the radio. "Dad, I'm hungry," Charlotte says. "I'll make you cereal, as soon as we get home." He starts up the car and they drive home.
They arrive back at the house, and Charlotte looks out the window and laughs. "What is it, hon," Marshall asks. "You don't see that boy," she asks. "Who?" "That boy wearing those overalls dancing in the front yard," she says confused. "umm, no I don't sweetie, is he your friend," he asks thinking that it might be her new imaginary friend. "No, this is the first time I've seen him." They get out the car and she runs up to him. "Hi, I'm Charlotte," she says. "Alright, I'm going inside now, I'll make you a bowl of cereal, don't be too long," he says as he runs inside and leaves her out there to talk to her new imaginary friend. Her father finishes making the cereal and looks out the window to see Charlotte standing there with her head tilted at him like it was in the hospital. He waves at her, and she doesn't wave back, she still stands there like a statue. He places the cereal on the counter and goes outside to see what's wrong. As soon as he opens the door she starts skipping to him. "Hey, daddy, is the cereal ready," she asks. "Yes, it is.. um.. why were you standing like that." "Like what? I was talking to Benjamin," she responds. "Oh, Benjamin, is his name, that was your grandfather's name, you know," he says as they walk back inside. "So, what does Benjamin look like?" "ohh, well he has dark brown hair, light blue eyes, he's very pale, he has small eyebrows, he is pretty skinny, and pretty short, he looks younger than me," Charlotte responds. This must be a coincidence, she's describing exactly what my father looked like. "Honey, do you remember Grandpa Ben?" "No, why" "Oh, no reason, you met him when you were really young, around a year after your mother passed. Sadly he passed a couple months after he visited us." Charlotte grabs the cereal and runs to the living room to eat and watch cartoons. As soon as Marshall passes by the living room the lights start to flicker and the TV turns to static. He runs upstairs to lay down and get some more sleep when all the lights in the house turn off completely and he sees Charlotte standing in his doorway tilting her head and standing like a statue again. "Honey, are you alright," he asks. No answer. The lights start flickering again. This time nonstop. Marshall sits up and bows his head. Charlotte walks over to him and sits right next to him, not saying a word. BOOM!!! The ceiling fan lands on both of them and they both get injured. Charlotte picked up the broken glass and kills them both.
Ever since, this house has been haunted with dangerous entities that are not afraid to hurt anyone who steps foot or comes close to their home. Not only are they living here, but Charlotte and her father's spirits are still circling the home as well.
