Due to the whole "no school" thing I have much more time for writing so yay...
Also I thought I'd just put this here because, dang, so true.

•••Peter POV
I had been traveling through underground tunnels I didn't even know existed with my hands tied behind my back for three freaking days.
Oh; and they had managed to somehow find duct tape for my mouth. I thought that stuff was all destroyed.
The only times the tape was removed was when Oliver decided to allow me to eat and get some water, which was only once or twice a day.I mean, I understood the whole I-Killed-His-Mother thing, but really? Starving me?
I had tried getting the lady in charge of this whole operation to make him give me more food but she had just tsked her tongue and told me that I really did deserve it.
And honestly, I knew I did too. That hadn't been one of my proudest moments, even if I couldn't truthfully say that it was the worst thing I had ever done.
Father had never tried to shelter me, whenever he sent me on a mission— no matter how gruesome the deed— he expected it completed. How blind I had been, not to see his true colors.
It wasn't until after nearly five whole days of travel that Oliver and the lady (who's name I learned was Doctor Lauren Celeste, a name that sounded vaguely familiar...) decided to let me speak.
I sat on a cold rock, the tape having been removed from my mouth, hands still tied, but loosely enough so I could stroke Destiny's ears while Survivor watched me suspiciously from five feet away.
That dog never did like me."Okay Peter— may I call you Peter? You seemed quite insistent on being called Pete the other day. Or what was it.. Ty-Ty?" Dr. Celeste raised an eyebrow, smiling slightly.
I was glad the tunnels were dark, that way she couldn't see how red my ears had turned.
I wonder what else I said in my drugged state. Hopefully nothing too embarrassing..."Peter's fine," I said quickly, aware of Oliver's glaring directed at me from where he sat, not more than three feet away.
"Good. Now, you may be wondering why the hell we've been parading you through the darkness, hands tied and mouth taped, no?"
She didn't even give me a chance to reply, answering her own question.
"Well we had intended to interrogate you at our last location but some... complications... came up. These tunnels were built many, many years ago after the first ever great Shock, constructed as a hideout that was completely Machine-Safe, but over the years they've been forgotten by many."
