It's my birthday, 15th to be exact. My friends and I were surfing in Amanpulo, Palawan. I know what you're thinking, 'Grabe, birthday lang, sa Palawan pa.' This wasn't my choice naman e. it was my controlling mom's.

"Hahaha, wow Ari, what happened to your 'Mad Skills'?" Tanong sakin ng best friend ko na si BIanca Sophie Moralez , habang tumatawa. Nahulog ako sa board dahil sa malakas na alon na kumain sakin.

"Ha ha, nakakatuwa Bia, at least may ginawa ako, instead of looking at my phone all day, pining over a guy who ipapaalala ko sa'yo, doesn't know you exist,"  Doon siya natahimik.Nag-pout siya and tucked her phone away, looking guilty.

"Omg, Bia I was joking!" Sabi ko. Horror registering on my face. "You were actually stalking him again?!"

"Nag-update kasi s'ya sa ig story niya eh." Pagtatangol n'ya sa sarili n'ya. "It was just a peek, I swear!"

I slapped my hand to my forehead. When will she give up? Masasaktan lang s'ya.

"Bia, nag-usap na tayo hindi ba?"

"Yeah, but he and his friends are here! In Amanpulo. I want to finally introduce myself to him," Sabi n'ya. "It's their last day, they leave later na!"

Umiling ako,"Kahit na-

"Hoy!"

"Ay, pakyu ka!"

Tumingin kami ni Bianca sa nang-gulat sakanya.

"Kuya Tristan!" Sigaw ni Bia sa kuya n'ya na binuhusan n'ya ng juice.

"Putik naman Sophie, kailangang mo'kong  buhusan ng juice?" Sabi ni Tristan habang pinupunasan yung juice sa mukha n'ya na tumatawa. Tristan was two years older than us, but he somehow still remained Skyler's bestfriend. Lahat kami nag-kakilala ng grade school, then became friends even since. We met Tristan during 6th grade dahil hinatid niya si BIanca, tapos nakilala namin si Cliffe dahil siya best friend ni Tristan.

"Then don't sneak up on me!" Sigaw ni Bia. Si Tristan at mga kaibigan namin ang pwede lang tumawag kay Bia na Sophie. "Alam mo naman, jumpy ako e!"

"Alem mo nemen jumpy ake e!" Pagtukso ni Tristan sa kapatid n'ya. Tumawa lang ako ng malakas.

Tumayo si Bianca at sinugod 'ung kuya n'ya, "Ah, ganaynan!"

Umiling ako at binaon yung board ko sa buhangin, 'tas pumunta doon sa Juice Bar para palitan yung juice ni Bianca.

Tumingin sakin yung waiter pagkaupo ko. "One Mango shake, and one Orange juice please," Tumango lang siya and proceeded to make my order. After that, may umupo sa tabi ko. It was a guy. He had hazel hair, brown eyes, wearing grey board shorts with a white short-sleeved unbuttoned polo. He looked so cute. I didn't even realize I was staring until he called me out.

"Ano tinitignan mo d'yan?" He smiled—more liked smirked at me. Shit, 'bat ang tanga mo Aria?

"What?" Tanong ko. Parang ang tanga mo naman girl!
