All Camdyn could remember in her dream was the fact that Dezrick was in her dream fighting some... being that only appeared in fantasy stories or movies. She couldn't really remember the details but she did have an uneasy feeling.

Crazy dream, she thought to herself. She got up and went straight to getting ready for the day. She pulled her beautiful butterfly locs up into a bun save two to hang on either side of her face, and then brushed her teeth. She noticed her gray eyes were lighter than she remembered but didn't think anything of it as she figured it was just the bathroom lighting.

She never put too much on her face, lipgloss was enough for her. She dressed in a , with some tight black pants and knee-high boots, with a gray, leather jacket that reached to her upper rib cage, unzipped.

Since the school is only a walking distance away she didn't have to rush to leave the house. But once she walked out she had an uneasy feeling. Like she was being followed.

Calm yourself Cam, nothin's gonna jump out and hurt you, she reassured herself, It's just another day of high school. Don't freak out.

She was about to walk out of the mouth that lead to her neighborhood when something jumped out blocking her way. It looked like the thing she saw in her dreams. Eerily white with no facial features other than a jagged mouth.

"Who... what the hell are you?" she asked, terrified of what she was looking at. When she got no response, without another second, she turns to run back towards her house, dropping her bookbag in the process to lighten her load.

It wasn't gonna let her escape easily though. It was in front of her before she could reach halfway back to her house. It had a tall and long slender body and razor-sharp claws that looked as if it could cut her to ribbons. It opened its grotesque mouth and screamed at her.

Is this a dream? That's gotta, be it. There's no possible way that she would be the one attacked with no one else around to see.

She was going to continue running but fought against her instincts. It would be no use, this thing, whatever it was, wasn't leaving without her head.

It ran toward her and she was able to dodge but not quick enough. It cut her right cheek with its claws but it wasn't too deep.

She quickly turned around to face it. She saw the creature and... someone else behind it.

Is that Dezrick? When did he get here?

The thing saw him and ran towards him. It seemed to have completely forgotten about her.

"Dezrick, run away!" Camdyn yelled.

He didn't hear her or he just didn't care. He was always like that. So stubborn and helpful.
When they were close enough, Dezrick grabbed the claw as the creature was about to try to swing its gnarled claws at him. He struck a blow to the gut of it. The humanoid flew back as it screamed. When it hit the concrete, Dezrick was quickly on top of it.

Is that electricity coming out of his hands?

Was she seeing things? This was all too much for her to take in. Dezrick fried the monster and it screamed in pain. He then tore off both arms, it screamed more then Dezrick caved its head in with such force Camdyn winced.

What was left of its body started to disappear into dust. The wind carrying it away. Dezrick stood up and looked at her with a ferocious look. She realized he had music playing through his earphones.

" You alright," Dezrick asked studying her. He spotted the cut on her face. She hadn't realized it was bleeding. He walked towards her. She was a bit shocked and she realized she was trembling. Her life could've ended then and there is what she kept thinking. Dezrick grabbed her hand, yanking her out of her thoughts his breath on her face. It smelled really good. He pulled her into a hug.

"Are you ok?" He asked again, pulling away to study her once more.

"I'm fine, it just nicked me. What was that anyway?"

Dezrick was checking how deep the wound was. "We call them Ash Fallen ," He said.

"We?" she asked confused.

"Yeah, there are others," He told her he tugged her to his motorcycle sitting by the curb running.

"What do you mean others?"

"We have powers, you saw my hands with electricity" was more of a statement than a question.

"How'd you do it?"

"I'll explain everything later, right now we've gotta get going or we're gonna be late for school."
