{Steven Hyde X Reader} Party Time

A/N: inspired by season 4 episode 4. i was watching it and decided i wanted to write an x reader based off the episode. hope you guys enjoy! :) (female reader)

You stood next to Eric and Fez, holding a plastic cup filled with punch in your hand. The door to the basement opened behind you, and you turned to see Jackie's smiling face. "Look what I brought!" she said in a sing song voice, gesturing to the girl walking in behind her. You furrowed your brows in confusion. "Big Rhonda?" Eric deadpanned. "Uh huh!" Jackie nodded. "There goes the keg" Eric said before walking away.

You walked off toward the basement stairs as you heard footsteps coming down it. You saw Kitty with Hyde close behind. "Everybody, look who's here!" Kitty said to the room with a big, bright smile on her face. She placed her hand on Hyde's arm as he made his way down the stairs. "A caring, intelligent, snazzy young man. S-S-S-Steven Hyde!" Kitty pretended to do a drum roll, introducing Hyde. "Um, thanks" Hyde said.

You and Fez walked up to Hyde. "Hey guys, what's going on? I thought we were watching Saturday Night Live" Hyde said as he looked around the room. "Yeah, change of plans. We're having a party with girls. A keg, and girls. For no reason whatsoever" you chuckled as you patted Fez on the shoulder. "Great" Hyde said. "And there's no agenda" Fez added. "Alright" Hyde continued to eye the different girls around the room. "Stop grilling me, you bastard" Hyde looked at Fez, confused. "Calm down, buddy" you patted his shoulder again.

You chuckled before Fez walked away. "You want something to drink? I can get it for you" you offered Hyde. "Uh, sure Y/N" you nodded, walking over to the punch bowl. You filled your cup and a new cup for Hyde. You walked back over to him, seeing him already standing with a group of girls. You tapped him on the shoulder and handed him the cup. "Thanks Y/N" you nodded, a small smile on your face. You turned to walk away but he stopped you. "Where're you going?"

"I don't know. Over there" you gestured to the tables that held food. "Don't want to kill your vibe or whatever" you shrugged him off. He watched you walk away with a frown on his face.

You stood next to Eric at the table, both of you silently sipping your drinks. "So..." you said. "So..." Eric echoed. "Still dead inside?" you questioned, looking up at him. "Yup" he replied with a nod. You nodded back, taking another sip of your drink. "I'm gonna head outside" you mumbled before setting your drink down and walking outside.

You leaned on the railing of Foreman's back porch, looking up at the night sky. You didn't know how long you stood there for, but the party was ending once you finally pulled your eyes away from the sky and to a figure next to you. "I was wondering where you had gone" Hyde said as he leaned on the railing next to you. You chuckled as you glanced at him. "All those girls in there and you were wondering about me?" you asked with a small smirk. "Well, I, uh, I..." he stammered. You chuckled and hit his arm lightly.

"I'm just messing with you. Calm down" he laughed along with you. "That many girls in one room can get annoying. Especially since they all started going after Eric" you said, rolling your eyes. "Oh yeah. Poor, sensitive Foreman" you both laughed. There was a moment of silence before Hyde spoke again. "You've seemed off today. What's up?" you turned your body to face him, leaning your elbow on the railing.

"Asking me what's wrong now? Have you gone soft on me Steven Hyde?" he pointed a menacing finger at you. "Never say such a thing. Steven Hyde is not soft" you laughed as you looked down at your feet. You sighed, your laughter subsiding. "It's... it's nothing" you shook your head as you looked back up at him. You watched as he took his sunglasses off, letting them hang on the front of his shirt. As you looked onto his eyes, you realized how little you saw them, and how much you liked them.

"Come on. Tell me. What's going on with you?" you sighed again. Little did he know that your problem was him. You had been crushing on Hyde for almost as long as you knew him, but you didn't think he would ever go for a girl like you. You weren't the most innocent in the world, but your self doubts always stopped you from making a move.

"It's this guy" you decided to tell him part of the truth, just not the part about how he's the guy your talking about. "Did he do something? I'll kick his ass-" you chuckled lightly as you set your hand on his arm to calm him down. "No, no, he didn't do anything" you paused for a moment, rubbing your thumb across the fabric of his shirt. "I, uh, I like him" you forced yourself to pull your hand away, despite wanting to keep it there.

"L/N has a crush! That's new!" he said with a teasing grin. You shook your head with a small smile. "It's because I've liked him forever, you dope" you said. "Oh really? Who is this guy and why haven't we heard of him?" you almost laughed. Eric and Donna had heard all about your crush on Hyde. "I don't think he would ever go for someone like me, so I felt no need to mention him" you said somewhat sadly.

"Oh please, what guy wouldn't go for you?" you turned to him with furrowed brows. "What?" you questioned him. "Yeah! You're like the hottest girl in Point Place!" you shook your head as you laughed nervously. "Seriously! I mean have you seen yourself? You're beautiful" you felt the butterflies in your stomach as he spoke. "Not only are you good looking, you're also an amazing person. I don't like to talk about my feelings, and you're the only one I talk to about that shit. You always know what to say" you turned to him again. "Okay, I get it. Thank you Hyde"

"I'm not done" he held up a finger to shush you. "You're also super smart and kind. You're always so nice to people. Even people I know you can't stand" you felt and smile tug at the corners of your lips at his little speech. "There's more I could say but I'll save the rest for a rainy day" you chuckled. "Thank you Hyde. I really appreciate that" he nodded. "You're welcome. A girl as amazing as you should know how amazing she is"

"So, are you going to go for that guy now?" he asked you. You stared into his eyes, quickly realizing you both were leaning in closer to each other. "Yeah. I think I will" you reached out and gripped the back of his neck, pulling him closer to you. Your lips smashed together in a passionate and heated kiss. Hyde's hands fell to your waist, holding you tightly, pulling you as close as possible. Your lips moved together as his hands snaked their way down to your ass. He squeezed lightly, causing you to moan. He took this opportunity to slide his tongue into your mouth. You gladly let him as you continued to make out on Foreman's back porch.

After a while, you finally pulled away, panting slightly. You rested your forehead against his as you looked into his eyes, both of you grinning like idiots. "You don't know how long I've wanted to do that" you said quietly. "Me too" he replied. "Fez told me what this party was actually for. That's when I realized how much I really liked you. I wasn't about to let you get away that easy" you chuckled. "Well I'm glad you finally grew a pair and kissed me" he squeezed your ass at your comment, causing you to jump and squeal. He held you close, wrapping his arms around you.

"Why don't we go out on a proper date. Say... this Friday? I'll pick you up at 7" he said. "I would love that" you replied. You kissed his lips sweetly. "Now why don't you give me a ride home lover boy" you pulled away, walking toward his car. "You better never call me that in front of the gang" he said as he caught up with you. "Whatever you say lover boy!" he ran up and wrapped his arms around your torso, lifting you up. You squealed and giggled, kicking your feet. "If you tell them all that mushy shit I said, I swear..." you laughed. "Well, I cant promise I won't tell Donna..." he poked your side, causing you to laugh again.
