Chapter forty-four

Five years later....

Third pov:
Everything's been normal, some would even call it calming and peaceful, the pack has been better ever sense the dramatic and terrifying event. Lavender first power show itself, Agrokinesis, a power where she can only manipulate flowers, trees, any form of plant life. Minyoon can manipulate fire now, along with the strength he received from his mother. Jungkook found out his sons new power when he was helping his kids practice transforming into their wolf from. Minyoon accidentally set a tree on fire in the woods, and Taehyung hit puberty on his thirteenth birthday, he came out as a male omega, but not a rare one like his mother. And both parents are proud of all of their children, learning new things every passing day.

Hoseok was in his husbands office, helping him finding more information about their growing family's powers. The omega sat on his husbands desk, closing the book that he had in hand, Jungkook glanced up at him, his brows twisted in confusion mixed with concern. "What's wrong love?" Hoseok shrugged, "When I hit puberty, I gained my powers, I'm just wondering if Taehyung is going gain it from me..... I'm just curious, it's rare to see such a thing happen. But I'm worried about when his first heat will hit, because what if it happens when he's in school? He won't have powers to defend himself like I did..." He thought out loud, Jungkook hummed, propping his head up on his elbow, "I'm sure he'll gain something, but if he doesn't, then we both will make sure to keep an eye out for signs of his pre-heat..." He saw his mate slowly nod, but his mate was hiding something else, "Is there something you're hiding Hoseok?" The omegas eyes widen, shaking his head, "I'm not, promise.... it's just... My heats coming soon ... and I know it's risky, but.... I-I would like to have another pup...." Jungkook let out a heavy sigh, running his fingers through his hair, his gaze breaking down, lazily looking at the book he was reading. He shut the book, rubbing his face in his hands, "Hoseok, you know the dreams I have are a warning of some sort, and I can't risk anything happening to you, especially if you're expecting.... again." Hoseok bit his bottom lip, that quivered slightly, swallowing a lump in his throat, nodding his head, "I understand... I'm just... you know what, forget it, I'm going to pick the kids up from school..." Hoseok muttered, setting the book down on the alphas desk and sliding off from the fine wood, heading out of the office.
Hoseok shut the door on his way out, covering his mouth to muffle his soft sobs, taking deep breaths, his free hand placed on his flat stomach. Wishing he could have the feeling of a life growing again, but fear kept them from trying to have another pup. But Hoseok doesn't live forever and he dreamed of having a big family, simply one or two more pups won't hurt. Right? Plus, it was only a nightmare, how come the alpha was paranoid and scared because of a nightmare? He had that nightmare five years ago.
Hoseok sniffled, wiping his tears away and started walking down the hall. He had to pick up his little girl first, so he straightened up and cleaned his face as he made his way out of the castle, heading the to the village.

"Mama! Mama!" Lavender shouted, running up to her mother, Hoseok was crouched down and had his arms open. He scooped his daughter up in his arms, showing his little girl with kisses, "Were you a good girl in school today flower?" The little girl nod, "I-I learn how to counts to twenty today mama!" Hoseok wowed in amazement, blowing a raspberry on her cheek and making her squeal in laughter. "Where's your brother Lavie sweetie?"
The little girl shrugged, getting set down on the ground, holding her mothers hand, as they waited for her brother. Hoseok was growing anxious and nervous, bitting his bottom lip out of habit, looking through the crowd of kids. Trying to spot his son, having no choice but to use his pups bond, sighing in relief when he sensed his pup near by. "Come on Lavie sweetie," gently riggings his daughter to follow him, which she did. "I want papa," she states out of the blue, Hoseok sighed, "I know sweetie, but we're going home until I have all my pups with me, ok?" Seeing his little girl nod, mumbling a soft 'yes mama'.
They soon came to a stop, seeing a table under a tree, where his son, Woozi and Chanyeol sat, playing UNO. Woozi smacked down a pick up five card and shouted 'UNO', Chanyeol groaned, "Really Woozi!? Every time..." he muttered, picking up five cards from the deck. Lavender let go of her mothers hand and running over to her brother. She jumped up on the wooden seat, sitting next her brother, "Can I pway?" Minyoon shook his head, "Go away brat, we're busy." Lavender pouted, "Next game?" She asked shyly, Minyoon groaned, "No, now scram.... Chanyeol, I hope you little sister isn't as annoying as mine." He grunted out, placing a green six on top of a blue six, Woozi groaned, mumbling a 'dang it'. His two friends chuckling, Chanyeol cleared his throat, "I already have Lil' and she's a great big sister, I honestly can't wait for mom to have the twins. I get a brother and sister, which pretty sweet, but moms not gaining enough weight apparently, so he's not working for a while." Lavender perked up, "What's twins mean Minnie?" Pouting when her brother ignored her, so Chanyeol spoke up and answered the question for her. "My mom has two pups growing in his tummy Lavs, so instead of getting one sibling, I'm getting two." Lavender awed, standing on the seat and leaning over her brothers shoulder. "Does Yoonie have bb in his tummy two Woozi?" She asked curiously, the boy shrugged, "I don't know, maybe someday. Why don't you go play with Kyungsoo Lavs?" He then places his second to last card down, shouting 'UNO', smirking at his friends groaning in annoyance. Lavender made an 'I don't know' sound, "I want papa," she said simply. Minyoon hummed, "Then go to papa brat," he muttered. Lavender huffed, "Can't... mama here, not papa, papa at home. We has to get TeaTea first dough," she explained, only seeing her brother nod. "That's great," were the only words he said.

Hoseok was watching his pups from afar, jumping when he felt someone smack his shoulder, he turned to see his friend Namjoon. Hoseok eyes widen at the sight of his pregnant friend, "Namjoon-ah, aren't you on bed rest? You're six months pregnant and should be taking an easy." Namjoon softly smiled at his friend, who is always concerned for others, more than himself, as usual. "I'll be fine Hobi, don't worry, I'm here to pick up Woozi and Chanyeol, Yoongi went into heat, so Jimin is watching the cafe while Jin helps Yoongi." Hoseok huffed in defeat, crossing his arms, not able to say 'no' to his expecting friend when he had a good excuse. "Mmm~alright, just be careful, please?" Having a small pout on his lips while he spoke, Namjoon chuckled at his adorable friend. "I will, promise.... Did you tell Jungkook about wanting another pup?" His dimple smile fell into a more serious look and concerned gaze towards his friend, while his voice was laced with curiosity. Hoseok nod his head slowly, gazing over at the pups playing at the table, "I did.... he's still scared about having another pup because of his blood nightmare that he had five years ago." He groaned out, Namjoon hummed, "Isn't his rut come if soon?" Hoseok nod, "I don't know exactly when it is though, I sense that it might come soon. Either way, if his comes soon, it'll trigger my heat to start early, it's the same way the other way around. That's why we make sure to keep an eye on our cycle, so we know when we need to be separated." Namjoon rose a concerned brow, "You two can't keep doing that, a mated omega needs their alpha during their heat. You could always take a potion to keep you from getting pregnant Hoseok, I just don't want you to die from over heating this summer." Hoseok let out a soft sigh, "I know... I'm trying to talk to him about it too, but he knows how fertile I am." Namjoon shook his head, "It shouldn't matter if you end up pregnant or not Hoseok, you could end up either losing the ability to get pregnant ever again, or it might be harder when you two do try, or... you'll die, and he needs to get that into his brain of his. If he loved you, then he would be concerned about this more than a bloody nightmare about a witch threatening your life." Hoseok nod in agreement, feeling his chest tighten at the thought of his alpha no longer loving him.

Lavender was watching her brother and friends play, the game was now almost over, she screamed when her foot slipped off the ledge of the seat. Her eyes screwed shut, fearing she'll hit the ground, but didn't feel any sort of painful impact.
Minyoon heard his sister scream, acting fast, he quickly caught her, knowing his sister still doesn't have control of her plant powers yet, so she couldn't save herself from a small fall. He lifted her up and sat her next to him, pulling her shaking frame close into an embrace "You ok Lavs?" The young girl nod, sniffling and crying softly in her brothers neck. Taking in the cedar scent that was slowly coming out from his scent gland, sense he was growing closer to puberty. He sighed and rubbed her back, "You win Woozi, we'll play again tomorrow." He then glanced at his sister, wiping away her tears with the sleeves of his hoodie, "I can pick you up from your classroom and we'll teach you how to play, how does that sound Flower?" Asking with the nickname only him, Taehyung and their parents call her, seeing nod her head. He gave his sister a bunny mixed heart shaped smile, bottom teeth missing from losing his baby teeth. "Come on guys, let's go," he gestured his head, taking his sisters hand in his, helping her off the seat.

Hoseok heard his pups scream, both him and Namjoon rushed over, stopping to watch the cute scene before them. Chanyeol noticed his mother, grabbing his bag and running up to him. "Mom, you should be home!" He shotted in fright, Namjoon huffed, rolling his eyes and running his fingers through his sons hair. "I'm here to pick up you and Woozi, Jinnie is helping Yoongi through his needy cycle pup. So your father is watching the cafe and I will be picking you all up for a bit." Chanyeol let out an 'oh', Woozi came up to them, after cleaning up his game and tossed the small cardboard box in his bag. He placed his hand on Namjoons bump, pouting when he couldn't feel anything. The omega chuckled and moved the young boys hand to a different spot, seeing the pup light up when feeling the kicks against his small palm.
Minyoon and Lavender stepped to their mother, the youngest pup glanced at Namjoons bump and then at her mothers flat belly. She pointed at her mothers tummy, "Puppy?" Hoseok lightly giggled and shook his head, "No puppy in mama sweetie, come one, let's go get Tae," he said, as he held out his hands to his pups. They took their mothers hand, they all then walked as a group to the middle school.
