"Have you ever been to a gay bar in the Midwest?" Baby side eyed me and shook her head. "Well your going to today. Get dressed and no heels." I went into my bathroom to take a shower.

My cousin Lovey has a club out in the country and she runs an after hours gay bar behind it. Although I haven't been around for some years I know she still has the bar. Baby Love would love it.

After getting dressed we hoped in Baby Love's car and head too my cousin's bar.

When we pulled up it was even bigger than I remembered. It looked like a barn from the outside with hay stacked around the building. There was men and women all around talking and laughing. It's only midnight so the club is still open.  Which means my cousin hasn't gotten to the bar yet.

"Girl what is this? I'm getting my Jordan's dirty." Baby complained.

"I told you not to wear them because its alot of dirt around. But no you gotta put on your brand new white J's." I shook my head at her. We argued for 20 minutes about them shoes. I told her they were going to get dirty. "Should have put on sandals like me."

"Fuck you, bitch." I hear her grumble. I just laugh and head towards the bar.

"I know that's not Jordin Lovette getting ready to walk into my bar and not say nothing to her favorite cousin." I hear Lovey yell.

When I turn around she is right behind me with her arms crossed. "You know I could slap the shit out of you right?"

I looked at her with a big smile. "You could." I shrugged my shoulders. "Or you could just be happy to see me." I smile and pull her into a tight hug. "I've missed you Love bug," I whispered in her ear.

"I've missed you too Jo Jo. Now who's your friend?" She asked looking over at Baby Love.

"I'm Baby Love," she said extending her hand.

"Baby I don't shake hands." Lovey said before giving Baby Love a hug. "I'm Jo's cousin Lovey Lovette. The bar doesn't start to really be fun until about 2 am when the club closes. Yall wanna hang out in the VIP until I'm ready to go over there?"

We follow Lovey into the club and head straight to her VIP section. The club was jumping. It was people everywhere and from the looks of it she expanded the club as well.

"Business must be really good for you," I say to Lovey. I sip my drink and continue to look around.

"Yea business is really good," she said nonchalantly. "I got this nigga that keeps coming here tryna get me to pay him for having my club out here." She twirled her straw in her drink and took a deep breath.

"Ok, so what you doing about it," I asked.

"Right now I'm paying him. I don't want to tell the family about it cause they didn't want me to have the club out here anyway. You know it's not in our 'territory'. Whatever that means." She sighed.

"Ok so take him out," Baby Love chimed in.

"Baby this not the city we can't do it like that here." I responded.

"Nah. You can," she gave me an evil grin.

"You about to call the sisters?" I asked with a worried look on my face.

"Nah, we can do this on our own."

"We?" Lovey said with wide eyes.

"Yes we. So who is this nigga?" Baby asked.

"He comes every night after the bar closes." Lovey said.

"Ok. Well don't get too drunk ladies. Ima show you how to kill a nigga without anyone noticing." Me and Baby Love smile. Lovey has the look of pure fear on her face.
