*SARAS POV*

Sara feels something is wrong, but can't tell exactly what. She feels like she needs to do something but she's not sure what. As she lays in her bed missing Jacob all she can think is what if she was wrong to trust Tyler. Something was off. Ever since his transformation from Beta to Alpha he has been different.

Sara closes her eyes trying to go to sleep but she can't shake this feeling. She gets up out of bed and starts walking the halls. Just as she passes Lucus's old bedroom she hears things being moved around and faint grumbles. She listens and concentrates on the brain energy patterns. She turns confused. There isn't any brain energy at all. She teleports inside the room so she doesn't make any noise.

To her surprise nothing is inside the room. She looks around the room cautiously to find anything that'd suggest anything else. Everything is just the way she left it when Lucus left. Nothing was moved let alone touched. She then closed her eyes and focused on something faint. She smiled and bent down to pick up a small mouse that was scurrying around with a necklace.

Sara laughed to herself. "You scared me for a second there little mouse. I thought you were someone else." She takes the necklace from the small mouse and it squeaks. She then took the mouse and the necklace to a spare room just down the hall. There was a cage on the dresser in the room that she put the mouse in. She sits on the bed as she examines the necklace.

She opens it up and drops it immediately and gets up and runs put of the room and down the long twisted stairs out the front door. She runs into the woods shifting as she passes trees. All four paws hit the soft, grassy, ground as she runs faster towards an opening. Everything turns black as she hits the ground.

*JACOBS POV*

Jacob growls low as all the wolves around him are now cowering away from him. He is a massive grey wolf with red eyes and large sharp canines. After he mated with Sara he evolved into an Alpha to match her in everything. They now share everything. He is just confused as to why he cannot feel her at this exact moment. Normally they always feel each other.

Jacob looks around at the other words and snaps at them. They back up more. "Your so called leader has abandoned you! Are you really willing to follow an Alpha who will leave you the first chance he gets when he is scared? Join me and we WILL protect you!" Jacob stands tall looking down at the small wolves around him. The other wolves look around at each other before bowing down to Jacob in submission.

Jacob howls and the others stand up and join in. They walk out of the building and run into the woods. Using sense of smell and sense of location Jacob made his way to lead the small pack to an abandoned territory. They group of wolves and Jacob camped their for the night. They trees hide them from any danger near by. The area around them was clear enough to have a fire and have the light of the moon shine down on them.

The wolves took turn guarding the area. Since there was sixteen wolves they are guarding with four per four hours letting each group sleep till dawn. As they waited they scouted the area, collected fire wood, hunted, and guarded the area. Jacob stood watch the first four hours with the first group. He wanted to make sure he could trust these wolves but also let them know they could trust him.

"Remember, Lucus is still out there. We don't know how far he went or if he decided to stuck around. If he did, he will attack." All the wolves looked around cautiously. As the time went by they switched roles. Others slept while others guarded. It was about the third switch so far. Everything was quiet. The birds snuggled in their nests, the bunnies burrowed, everything was peaceful. There was no sign of Lucus or anyone else.

It was almost dawn now. It was their last switch. Something snapped and they all turned their heads towards the noise. The wolf in charge was a wolf that was larger then most of them but still smaller then Jacob. He was a red wolf with green eyes. He took a step forward and then another. All the wolves including the previous group followed. They surrounded the area the noise came from. When the leader got close enough he pounced at it. The others ran towards him.

All they saw was a little coyote that had a broken leg and a missing ear. They all signed at once. Taking the small coyote back with them the leader shifted to human and cut peices of deer off for the little coyote and fed it. The others laid down to sleep and the group taking guard scouted the area. The coyote shifted to a small boy. He whimpered in agony as his leg was in excruciating pain. "Shhh, it's ok Toby. We will get you to a doctor as soon as its dawn."

"Daddy! Please help me.. it hurts!" The green eyed boy held the smaller boy closer. "Its ok Toby, you'll be ok. I will rip Lucus to pieces for everything he has done." The little boy passed out from pain and the green eyed boy laid him down with the others to keep him warm. He then shifted and joined the others in the woods to scout out the area and grab more fire wood. The wolves around him looked worried for him. Putting soft pacifying words into his mind to settle his anger.
