And then it was all over. Amy's parents had died in a car accident when she was at school. She got the news when she reached home and all the neighbours were standing in front of her house.
She was so sad that she ran to her room, locked the door and cried like forever when someone knocked on her door.
Amy quickly wiped her tears and went to open the door. It was Mrs Smith.
"I am so sorry dear," said Mrs Smith and quickly hugged Amy, who hugged her back.
Mrs Smith and Amy were very close and Amy treated her as one of the family members. Amy's parents were very rich and sophisticated. They lived in a big house.
Amy stopped crying after a few minutes and then finally Mrs Smith told the reason why she was here. She said " as there is no one to take care of you now, we have to move you to your Aunt Cassy's home. She is your only living relative so we had no other choice. You will live there only."
'What! No, I don't wanna go there,!" Exclaimed Amy. "It is a whole different country!"
"We have got no other choice, Amy. You have to go there only."
"But what about my school," said Amy.
"You will study there itself."
After that Amy didn't say another word.
"You will leave tomorrow night so pack everything thing you needed," said Mrs Smith and she went away.
The night was very dreadful and lonely for Amy. The whole house was empty. She didn't sleep the whole night and kept crying. She fell asleep in the early morning.
The next day, when she got up, it was nearly 10 AM. With a swish of her hand, the curtains opened. She got ready and changed in shorts and a t-shirt. She looked around her room and suddenly remembered what had happened yesterday. She got up and brought down her travelling bags.
She packed all her clothes and essentials with a wave of her fingers. Then she went to her parent's room and touched everything that belonged to them as if trying to remember them. She took some of her mothers clothes and accessories and packed them with her.
She sat on the bed on which they all used to play different games. She took out the photo album and went through the pictures and smiled looking at their family pictures.
She was startled when someone knocked on the door and she came back to the real-world form her thoughts. It was the cook "the breakfast is ready ma'am," the cook said and went away.
Amy kept the album in her bags and went down. She ate her food in silence.
Her whole day went away quickly. In the evening, Mrs Smith came to pick her up to take her to the airport to catch her flight. She helped her with her bags and their driver drove her to the airport.
When she got down at the airport, her flight was already there. She quickly went through the security and showed her tickets, passport and visa which was given to her by Mrs Smith. And after she got on board, the flight took off after few minutes.
