Karaoke Surprise

Nick and I are walking down the halls heading to lunch. I was joking about my brother, who made Stella and I late this morning because he lost his phone in our neighbor's pool. We were both laughing when Macey ran up to us with a large smile.

"Nick!"

We both jump back, Nick's arm slipping off my shoulder at the action before he settles it back on my waist. I smile, tugging my hair behind my ear, "Hey Macey. What's up?"

Macey smiles, "Hey, Lola," I smile at my crazy friend but she is already distracted by Nick, "Is it true what my fans are telling me?"

Nick looked at me with an interesting smile, ready to hear what Macey is up to know, "And that is?"

Macey looked at us as if it were obvious, "That you and Opal Star kissed? Reports are saying that you may be dating."

I smile, bringing my fingers up to my lips as I think about the kiss. After we left the juice bar, Nick explained to me that he figured it out when he heard me tell him off about being rude.

Nick pretends like he doesn't know what Macey is talking about, "Opal Star? I met her once at a VIP party and that was all. Besides she isn't my type."

I scoff, ignoring the deep aching in my chest, "She is perfect."

Nick shrugs, obviously amused by my reaction, "I don't know. I think I prefer blondes."

I bite my lip as I try to hold back a grin. I look back up to see Macey is still there looking at us with a confused expression.

"Are you two..."

I open my mouth as I look between a slightly upset Macey and an arrogant Nick, "Us. We are-er."

Nick tugged me closer to him before nodding at Macey, "Dating. I am taking Lola out on our first date this tomorrow."

Macey looks at me in awe, while I look at Nick speechless. Macey's squeal bring s me out of my shock as she pulls me into a hug, "I am so happy for you."

I smile, thinking about what just happened. Nick asked me on a date, the guy that I have liked for months. I couldn't help but beam in joy.

Macey looked between us before pointing at me with a serious expression, "You are going to tell me everything tonight," causing me to nod as she threatens, "snd if you dare hurt him I swear that I will-"

I laugh spinning Macey in the opposite direction, "I got it, Macey. See you after school."

Macey turns back to look at me with a smile before walking away.

I immediately spin to look at Nick, who is looking happier than I have ever seen him in my entire life. I surprise him by slapping his shoulder, "How could you?"

Nick looks at me in confusion, "Do you not want to go out with me?"

I huff, frowning as Nick waits for an answer, "Of course, but I thought that you would try to make our first date more special."

Nick looks at me like he doesn't understand, "Lola we have been best friends forever, I didn't think that we needed some fancy date."

I scoff as I look at him, "Then you don't know me at all," I say before dramatically walking away.

Hey guys, I know I am skipping episodes and jumping around the timeline but I feel like some of the episodes don't really fit with Lola's character. If there are any episodes that I don't include but you would like to see please mention them in the comment section below and I will try my best to incorporate them into the story.
